The ideas and themes presented are much more intellectually stimulating.

For example, Shadow of the Colossus is a more intelligent game than Ratchet and Clank. Both entertaining, both have ridiculous premises, but one's just more intellectually stimulating.

That half ass story about the haves vs the have not's? Seems to me that by the end the status quo was restored so rich guys win anyway. Oh and those that want to change the system are just as corrupt so why bother. Did i miss anything?

I feel TDKR was MUCH MUCH MUCH less cerebral than TDK. Which was why to me it failed at accomplishing it's intentions but really it was doomed for the jump because TDK is now the standard for a good superhero movie.

Right, that was such a half ass piece of shyt attempt at commentary. I was really mad I wanted to love this movie I really did and as a standalone it was good, pretty good actually. As the end of nolan's batman trilogy..no, no, no, no, no...and...uhhh....no

TDKR lost 80 mil because of the massacre. Still, it's whatever to me. I care for the Art not the $$$ it makes, even though I still want both films to be successful.

sucks that the massacre is tied to a particular movie and not just viewed as a horrible incident

but yeah, I mean...Heath Ledger dying, and also STEALING the movie from everyone kind of helped the 2nd film a sh*t ton
