When are batman fans going to going to take the L. More people liked the Avengers better then TDKR. As a comic book fan this movie really insulted my intelligence in the depiction of Batman. Batman honed his skills to fight injustice in Gotham City. Batman has been planing how to fight crime ever since his parents died. So he has been studying and planing but this batman is just a rich guy who became a ninja. Honing his mind was Step 1 and he was doing that since he was kid. So when Talia shows up dude should have red flagged her from jump. But naw this bytch was on his back for 8 years cause some fugly bytch died? I was glad batman caught that ass whopping from bane now that I think about it. How arrogant was this motherfukker thinking he take on anyone when you haven't been in the game for so long? Also I am glad catwoman shot at him with a rocket launcher. At least she was real and cut the shyt.

I enjoyed Avengers more but oddly enough I nitpicked that movie WAY more than TDKR.

I did too like how the president launced a nuclear war head at NY when our weapons did prove efficative in killing the aliens. At least the Avengers stayed true to there Characters. But wayne ninja gets his back broken and is healed with no medical attention? Also where fukk was that that hole? Cause I could have sworn that he left that place with only 24 hours to go.

TDKR is too intelligent for the American audience. That type of kiddie action is more appealing to the average movie goer. Same with First Class. I thought it was better then a lot comic movies but again too intelligent. You gotta dumb it down for American audiences. Plus, Avengers will appeal more to kids. All that factors in. That said, TDKR murders Avengers.

nikkas with more time can pick the movie apart. The point is that while Avengers may have been the simpler film let's not kid ourselves... DKR is not that much of a cerebral flick either.

The ideas and themes presented are much more intellectually stimulating.

For example, Shadow of the Colossus is a more intelligent game than Ratchet and Clank. Both entertaining, both have ridiculous premises, but one's just more intellectually stimulating.
