Literally all people have to do is buy these artists music and they’ll have the same support as Taylor. Folk just get mad because people like her that much lol. If the “people don’t buy music” crowd actually bought music who knows… :yeshrug:
People buy what they like. I don’t like everything Nas or Jay put out. Her fans mad a leak of one of her songs with just some random scratches chart 10 years ago.

In what metric is Beyoncé bigger/more successful/more popular etc? None.

This is a list of pop stars

1) Longevity- Beyonce dropped her solo debut in 2003 and is still huge. Taylor Swift debuted in 2006 and her debut album was not a big deal. We didn't see Taylor Swift become a big deal until 2008.

2) Game changer- Beyonce's surprise release changed the music industry. Surprise albums became a thing to the point of which "pull a Beyonce" was referenced to surprise drops. Release dates changed from Tuesday to Friday.

3) The music- Throw "Crazy In Love" on anywhere and people know this song even if they hate it. I can't think of a single Taylor Swift song as iconic as that song.

4) Influence- Beyonce has far more influence on other artists than Taylor Swift.

The crazy part is I don’t even think I can identify a Taylor swift song off hand. I’m sure I know some of them just cause they have played places but I don’t associate any song to her.
Minus the serial dating, Taylor Swift is everything white parents want their daughters to be. She’s “America’s Sweetheart,” “The Girl Next Door” on steroids. They probably don’t know all the songs either but they’re willing to expose her to their kids over 99% of other pop stars, buy their kids tickets to her shows, buy tickets for themselves and for the whole family.

That’s why she’s #1

If she ever started fukkin nikkas, twerking, using vulgar language, talk about drinking and doing drugs, being sexually explicit and dressing like a thot, best believe her image and sales would tank (tho she’d still be relatively popular) :steviej:

By people with musical knowledge, music lovers, critics, professional artists and musicians, by people that actually know music.

Oh those that need 17 people to write simple songs? Those that steal dances and pass them off as their own?
