No dog. It’s not. Picture fighting on the behalf of Black people only to have Black people from another country Come here and say you don’t work as hard and tell you that you’re wasting opportunities while having zero respect for your history? I know several African-Americans who live in Nigeria. Do you think they come there talking down about Nigerians and the state of the country? They have a certain respect for it. That same respect is not given by many Africans who come here. I’m sorry. I’m sorry but many Africans buy what America is selling about black Americans without ever stepping foot in this country
I lived in Kenya and I had my criticisms but I didn't talk down on Kenyans.

But even then because of my issues I left. *kinda* I suggest any Africans in america who has a problem with African Americans go back to Africa.

If you hear your fellow tethers talking shyt buy them a ticket back to the motherland.

I don't care about online chatter. Nor do I get what point you made about living in Kenya and YOU talking down on Kenyans.

Africans and most immigrants come here taught by American media to dislike Black Americans. They don't have to step foot here to think what they think about them. Nothing about that Ethiopian presidents past shows he's spent any time or had any interest in Black American history yet felt emboldened enough to make that statement because he's far from alone.

So how can we get #bothsides to tone down the diaspora wars?

I'm laughing at who has dapped your last two comments, cause y'all repeatedly expose yourselves as some of the most ignorant posters on these boards. Just look at our exchange:

The thread is about Tariq hating on the Black diaspora, so obviously anyone who fukks with the Black diaspora is going to feel a certain way about him doing that.

You think it makes sense to talk about haters when they're hating on Tariq, but that it's illogical to talk about haters when they're hating on every black person who wasn't born in America. Are you really so dense that you don't see that people posting here are posting with the EXACT SAME DEFENSIVENESS that you have when posters are hating on Tariq? Only our defensiveness is in support of entire cultures of Black folk, while your defensiveness is in support of one idiot Trump supporter who hates Black people for attention.

If you think it's more logical to throw the cape on for Tariq than it is to throw the cape on for the entire Black diaspora, then you must really believe he's your daddy.
Disingenuous take you all would be here regardless of the subject topic
.
The thread is titled "tariq gone too far" Nothing in that says anything about the diaspora. You have to click on the thread to even know what O.P is even referring too. Why are any of you clicking in the first place(YOUR DONE WITH TARIQ..RIGHT?). Im supposedly an individual who doesn't care for tariq and thinks his influence is only on the internet, so why am I clicking on this thread. If the thread was titled "tariq takes family photos" the same dodo bird negroes that hate him would be the first people in there. A "detractor" had to ask "supporters" to enter the thread and somehow wasnt embarrassed to do so. Zero cognitive dissonance.

If the call to demand is that strong for yall, then hes really yall daddy. He has you wrapped around his finger. I dont enter threads about people i dont fukk with

No one in this forum is stupid enough to not know that Tariq was talking shyt about the diaspora.

Y'all really think arguments like this will carry any weight on the intenet. We're not that stupid. That's WHY we don't follow Tariq.:bryan:

this is complete bullshyt. Media shows "black americans" in multiple levels of activity. Your hating because you want to hate. Simple as that

Who do I hate? I’m asking. Who am I hating? I’m confused as fukk. Who the fukk am I personally hating?

And how come you can’t answer that Gil Noble question? Were you in any sort of NYC black intellectual circles coming up?

I already asked why you can't ignore us, since we're so irrelevant. We're getting upset about the hate of someone with nearly a million followers across his platforms, while you're getting upset about fukking Coli posters. :laff:

I doubt I've ever looked up Tariq outside of a Coli context in my entire life. I've never engaged with him or his followers in any social media context or otherwise except here. But yes, when I see people in a community I'm a part of trying to support that hateful bullshyt, I'll respond. Sorry I insulted your daddy, but you're not gonna get me to stop. There's a reason why y'all are in here talking about EVERYTHING except for the thread topic.

Im referring to the africans who hate on black americans because of some mythical american media element . They see black americans in multiple facets, that media shyt is something you could get away with in the 90s but 2024 we not doing that tired excuse

No one is getting upset. Your upset and entering threads about an irrelevant "only on the internet" persona

Its funny, nearly all of his detractors were once followers of his

The others are pannies who never gave the idea of ethnicity and lineage and a specific culture much thought, and swayed in favor of "blanket blackness" as a BASE identity for fbas/ados

The others thought the very idea of delineation was "divisive" And then used tariq and yvette as smokescreens to hide behind

Then you have the political shills (like yourself) that need black americaness to be open-ended. As thats the most palatable version of consumption for american negroes. Don't need us being to specific..........specific ranges too close to "tangibles" let us be as vague as possible. So that indo-jamaicans can cosplay as us since they've attended a hbcu and joined a sorority

She was literally raised Black, in a Black neighborhood, surrounded by Black Americans in childhood and a mix of Black Americans/Canadians/Carribeans as a teenager BEFORE she ever went to the HBCU, and was considered Black by every society she was ever a part of, so how the fukk was she "cosplaying"? :why:

If you knew anything about Kamala's upbringing, you'd know that Howard was a more natural environment for how she was raised than any PWI would have been. So why do you make up shyt like this and just randomly slur her as a fake for no reason?
