I'm sure that makes sense in your head, but not once you let it out of your head. :mjlol:

Full-on liar. I have NEVER tolerated or co-signed anyone on this board (or anywhere else) hating on ANY category of Black folk. One of you idiots made that same claim just a week ago and I immediately pulled receipts where I had called them out for the exact same behavior.

Who is a "FBA hating tether" who is propped up by this board the way y'all prop up Tariq. Name ONE that I have ever co-signed.
You ignoring them is your co-sign.

Too many of our coli friends, including you, are addicted to fake outrage, friend.:francis:

So you're saying when Tariq does it it don't matter and when some faceless sockpuppet account on Twitter says it suddenly it matters

What does an AFRICAN elected official have do do with you? several Japanese Prime Minister said shyt about FBA's did you stop buying Japanese products?

Mexican presidents said the same thing with limited smoke from Black people
My family is African. But I'm sorry, this is a piss poor comparison. More SHOULD be expected from Africans. But way too many Africans carry the water for cacs to my annoyance.

Pan Africanism has ALWAYS one sided with the bulk of it carried by African Americans moreso than Africans. What we are seeing now is reaction to it being one sided for years.

That video of the Ethiopian president is FAR from an uncommon belief of Africans.

I don't ignore them when they post in my spaces, I call them out. But I don't go searching the depths of Twitter to find them for fake outrage.

because they revert back to AAs thinking and behavior

after a few generations they become American and choose to identify with American Black culture which unfortunately is dominated by nonsense

This is a horrible take. Diaspora wars are still alive and kicking here I see. :mjlol:

That's the 2nd result when I search my comments for "diaspora wars". Does that look like a "co-sign" to you?

That's the second time in this conversation you've tied together two opposing statements without even realizing it. :dead:

You want me to hunt down randoms I don't know who aren't even in my conversations (like Tariq does), but then you say I'm the one addicted to fake outrage? :laff:

Hopefully one day you kick the habit, friend.

My point is if we can't hold Tariq to a higher standard why hold anyone to it?

I'd agree with you that Black Americans have been the vanguard for Pan Africanist thought but if we can't expect African Americans to be the "bigger People" then why expect it of anyone?

One thing that African Americans and Africans share is a history of infighting and giving a pass to outsiders so it's par for the course.

The obvious difference is we don’t do nearly as much advocating for Japs and Mexicans as we do for Africans, nor do they come to America and check off as us on paper immediately getting benefits and set asides that were fought for by us and the expectation to defend them in the name of the some mythical non existent alliance is not there with Mexicans or Japs either. So again poor point.

Secondly, I didn’t say it didn’t matter. I said it’s largely useless, the average black American doesn’t even know who that man is.

The fact is like I said, this present day, and historically is a one way transactional relationship and there’s an agreement amongst all pan Africans that black Americans have to take whatever xenophobia comes from the continent on the chin for the greater good of the black diaspora

Mainly because everybody already knows Africans are tribal and barely get along with each other so it should be “expected”.
Don't advocate for Africans go full nikka style gangbanging. We should exhange Cotton picking jokes and Bushmeat jokes

If it don't matter then none of it does. You ain't got a problem with Tariq then I ain't got a problem with some random African politician.

I really can't take none of these nikkas seriously.

fukk Tariq.....my point was my point. That Ethiopian president is FAR from the only African who feels that way. I sometimes don't blame African Americans for feeling the way they do because, myself, growing up to two pan africanist parents I was disturbed when being around Africans and hearing their thoughts on African Americans. I'm privy to conversations that they think I'd be cool with accepting until I challenge their ignorance.

Africans do not have a strong history of showing the same grace of fighting for Africans Americans compared African Americans fighting for Africans. I'm speaking real talk.

Bruh....Tariq is a fringe movement while that Ethiopian represents a large swath of Aficans and their beliefs.
You mean to tell me that an Ethiopian official represents the people of Ethiopia???

I'd say that Tariq matches more standard Black American Political thought than who ever this African dude is.
