Nope Tariq Nasheed is right. And this here now officially makes me question her position especially when I was slowly becoming a fan of hers. Reparations that AADOS want is specifically for AADOS due to the legacy of slavery. Not some New Deal/whatever Cortez is saying. Seems like she is changing the definition of the reparations that AADOS want. The racial wealth gap started with slavery NOT the New Deal which came decades/white suburbia which came decades even after Black codes.

AOC'S history starts and ends with FDR, I doubt she actually knows anything about slavery or 40 acres.

What's funny is that AOC doesn't realize that Democrats were the onea trying to filibuster civil rights and Republicans are the ones that passed the bill with huge majorities in both congressional houses compared to dems
