If Tariq was serious and not just talking out of his ass. He would be putting together PAC's (or identifying PAC's to donate to) , identifying candidates to challenge in their primary elections, and fielding NEW candidates who would be responsive to our needs.

But that will be complicated and require some actual action instead of just sitting on your ass talking on YouTube and tweeting.

The correct response is not to sit on your ass til a politician comes begging you to vote for them. It's to primary those politicians that aren't responsive to your demands.

It is correct that he should be organizing a pac and supporting pacs but as whole black people aren’t there yet

But the points he is bringing up are valid, my solution is to split the vote, but I can respect not voting as a temporary strategy

blacks don't have any leverage to "split the vote" because republicans don't respect the black community. They see you as an "individual" when you're non-white.

You can't keep falling for what they say versus what they do.

Only when the Conservative white Republican party becomes Whig Party status. Only then, can America truly move forward with a pro black political party

No they really aren't.

If his argument was that black voters need to be able to better leverage their votes, then yes.

His point is basically that unless you get 100% of what you want, the next best course of action is to just leave the playing field.

It's either intellectually lazy or part of a deliberate strategy.

SMH at people taking his ass seriously.

His point that democrats give other groups specific promises and black people promises that are shrouded under “minorities” is 100 percent fact

Has he ever laid out a coherent argument for not voting or why he personally doesn't vote?
I’m curious about this too.

It’s very hard to dispute the fact that the amount of people who DID NOT VOTE had enough votes and power to DECIDE every Presidential election in the last 100 years.

So this says: voting has impact.

As one of the most ignored and abused groups in America (you can call it a “hood”, they call it a “project” because the “project” is to keep you there.. and not where they are) shouldn’t black people be the most motivated to vote..?

The narrative “voting makes no difference” only further ensures nothing changes because those putting politicians in power who absolutely do not care about black people DO vote... and then people say “well see voting makes no difference”. No. Complaining and not voting makes no difference, voting does.

It’s odd and awkward to see people get behind a black man who seeming hates the system but who also discourages black people to change the system.
