I like Tariq too. He does good work exposing the system of white supremacy, but when he started gaslighting africans and west indians that's when he lost me. I find it incredibly troubling he's focusing on dividing black people during these times instead of calling for unity. This isn't productive. It's very obvious who the enemy is at this point and it's not other black people...it's never been.

Common sense should tell you that this alledged murderer is not Nigerian. African immigrants didn't start coming to the United States in large numbers until the late 1970s and early 80s. This dude was born in 1971 so if he was a immigrant he would probably have come in the 80s. Plus his name itself is not Nigerian or West African. You do have SOME Nigerians and West Africans with western last names but they're a minority. If he was an immigrant or second generation American he would possibly be from the Caribbean.

Regardless if he was an immigrant, second/generation American or ADOS/FBA, he's a POS and deserves punishment.
