The game got great scores so far. It's objectively better than the previous games and that's not really my opinion but a fact. Literally everything from LBP 1/2/Vita is in here aside from the story levels which can be replicated and improved by users.
Metacritic incorrectly calculated the game's average so far too. The gaming age review is converted from a C+ to a 58 when listed on MC. A C+ is in no way a 58 in any shape or form in anything. Understanding that along with the fact that not every site reviewed it yet and some reviews having more weighting than others, it's simple to see why it's at 79/80 right now.

Ign reviews are the worst. Zero consistency.
IGN seems to score games based off hype and personal interest. Halo:MCC or AssCreed Unity, games with massive issues has its problems swept under the rug and scored higher but then they literally dock points off this game for game breaking bugs which were fixed in a patch available since yesterday that they themselves said they didn't download and feel like it wouldn't matter anyway. They did the same crap with Uncharted 3 where they gave it a 10/10 when it was loaded with bugs of which one was the aiming being so bad. They didn't even mention it in the review.

I can separate my purchases from my stance on reviews. Games in the 70s has never been a good look
did gamerankings do it wrong too? It's sitting at an 80 there (not far from the 79 on metacritic).

I'm talking about 1080p X 3. That's not even 4K, and we got people on here that game at those resolutions. I just want 45fps at 3K, which should be doable.

It's how the action is done to me which makes it worth playing. Metal Gear Rising revengeance was garbage imo and I just couldn't bear to finish it meanwhile Bayonetta 1 and 2 are classics to me from the same developer.It's the genre really.
