To think I almost copped this shyt full price

I only included those details to get in front of nikkas trying to clown. Also I got no kids and a healthy wage full price games aint hurting me ya'll really scressed over 65 dollars

Some of these "regular" enemies in the 4th realm have stupid amounts of HP

That said I don't really get why people are hating on the game. Unless there's some kind of huge dropoff in quality at the end it'll probably be my favorite Tales game.

Only redeeming thing was some of the music and the early battle system before things started getting repetitive. First non-launch game I bought and couldn't be more disappointed with it.

That said I have to agree the story was kind of mid and didn't really make sense a lot of the time, and the characters were just anime tropes. I'd consider copping the sequel depending on the reviews, but they need to find better writers. Even with a good battle system it's hard to stay engaged in an RPG where the story is bad.

I can deal with a bad story overall if shyt is at least entertaining.

The only good characters in Arise are Kisara and Dohalim. And they seem gimped as to not outshine the rest of the cast.

Nah it's just once you get past the pretty coat of paint you realize it's just a plain old tales game aka shoulda waited until it was $20.

Besides Deathloop is a much better experience.

Well I mean, were you expecting a Tales game to not be a Tales game

If it was going to have nothing in common with other Tales games there would be no point in considering it part of the series IMO.

I disagree

I thoroughly enjoyed the last half of the game and the story got a lot better towards the end as well. My one big knock against the game is the black and white ass villians though, I like a lil bit of subtlety to my villians and that was not to be found here at all lol

Were you expecting their next gen Tales game to be a Resident Evil game? It being an updated Tales game is the reason most would be here.

I'm still playing this 7.5/10 game again. Just like I did with every other Tales game
