One thing I'll say about this is the graphics have reached a point where things look kinda weird. They look too good to have most of these characters standing around in some type of half t-pose barely animated or doing canned animations that have many of them repeating the same poses.

Back when the graphics were much worse it didn't stand out so much. Another game Trails of Cold Steel had this issue.

Do the camera placement bug you at all? One thing i didnt like in the demo was the camera being so close to the player. I think i prefer the way it was in DQXI

Always the same :damn: I've had two healers on the team for bosses to bring people back on the regular - my DPS has gone to shyt though :mjcry:


I need to build the PAWG up as a tank

That first boss cheesed me with attacks that took 2/3rds of my health with one hit. You have to dodge all the hits and perfect dodge is preferred. Haven't quite mastered the timing of the perfect dodge because on different enemies the window is different. Wasn't in any real danger of dying until the health bar turned red and it went crazy. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them follow that pattern.

When the characters looked like that it was much easier to overlook stuff like that. As the graphics improved it draws attention to the graphics.

It's little things like when at camp characters talking when their lips aren't moving.

Granted this was a high budget game for its time but this PS3 game 2 generations ago looks way better in the cut scenes from a character animation perspective.
