I played about 20 minutes of the demo and deleted it. I tested the gameplay and I was more than satisfied

I went back 2 weekends ago and gave the demo a good run through with Kisara to get a better feel for gameplay and core mechanics.

Its chaotic, but the combat is fluid and satisfying as hell. You can tell the AI to make the other party members dormant and only engage when you command them to in order to calm things down, but that seems like such a huge disadvantage for larger fights. All the characters seem pretty unique and I really rock with the 6-element system they have for this game.

The only thing is they are following the GOW button layout by having your basic attacks bound to the 2 right shoulder buttons. And all the artes are on the face buttons. So its easy to get caught up and burn thru your arte points? fairly quickly without even realizing it.

You can change the buttons on the menu

I'm playing the demo for the first time today (and very, very mildly last night) and I'm loving this shyt already. After just beating Berseria last night, it feels like quite the significant gameplay upgrade over it as Berseria felt to me after beating Vesperia. And the graphics...whew boi!:whoo::wow:

Just need to get my pre-order going now so I can have it pre-loaded for Thursday night likely drop. Hope Friday a super slow day at work so I can play all day.

Gave the demo a test run, just ran around fighting. Skipped all the dialogue and whatever.

Game is beautiful and the story seems interesting battle system seems fun enough but i would need time to get used to it.

give me one reason to cop this ? :birdman: is it on gamepass?
No. It's not a Microsoft game and is part of an established franchise. Games like this don't come to Game Pass until they've sold through what fans are actually willing to buy first.

This whole people asking is it on Game Pass thing is getting weird. There's only really certain types of games that ever come to Game Pass day one. Indie titles, newer franchises from AAA publishers, Microsoft first party games. Almost everything else if it comes will be at least 6 months or maybe even more.
