I honestly think Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter stories 2 did it the right way. Just let us play the fist 6-10 hours of the game. Most people will play that and want to buy the game just to see where it goes.

I have over 150 hours in Berseria. I tend to have a shytload of idle time tho. I reckon actual playtime is half that.
