If it was a statue of sandusky then the argument works. I say remove the statue though.

Yes he was directly responsible. If he didn't cover it up some kids wouldn't have been molested. So yes he is directly responsible for children being molested he's just as guilty as dusky

Paterno's silence and inaction over an perverted issue he was clearly aware of makes him just as culpable.

At the end of the day, the image of the program meant more to him than doing the right thing.
