Yeah I'm convinced that dude is because the end for him came a bit sooner than expected and it ended differently than he figured it would end.
Isn't he like 38 or some shyt?
Dude is either 40 or on the verge of turning 40 this month. It's not like there are a whole bunch of 40 year old recievers running around. Certainly none with a repuation for dissing QBs and coaches. The nikka was myopic and didn't think about the long run and, as it normally does when you don't consider it, the long run bit him in the ass.
to me Philly was the perfect situation other than the contract, he should have kept his mouth shut and held out the next year.
There was no need for him to be vocal in Philly, Donovan had always been the scapegoat in that town at that point and T.O. could do no wrong.
Philly was where this whole bad teammate reputation really took hold.
How about just get a better deal to start with? That is the most underplayed part of the whole fiasco. Why did that nikka sign that contract and then turn around a year later and act like he was insulted by the shyt? It just doesn't make sense. He wasn't some guy on a rookie deal who outplayed his rookie deal. He was one of the premier WRs in the L when he came to Philly and should have gotten what he wanted from jump instead of playing the team first role and then switching it up that quickly. I am still salty about that shyt. Him and Donovan could've been one of the greatest duo's ever. Multiple SBs for sure if they had stayed together. Them nikkas just a had a connection that was special.
