Hate to see chad first and now t.o. on here begging for a job
How about just get a better deal to start with? That is the most underplayed part of the whole fiasco. Why did that nikka sign that contract and then turn around a year later and act like he was insulted by the shyt? It just doesn't make sense. He wasn't some guy on a rookie deal who outplayed his rookie deal. He was one of the premier WRs in the L when he came to Philly and should have gotten what he wanted from jump instead of playing the team first role and then switching it up that quickly. I am still salty about that shyt. Him and Donovan could've been one of the greatest duo's ever. Multiple SBs for sure if they had stayed together. Them nikkas just a had a connection that was special.
NOW HES ON "NUMBERS NEVER LIE",
AND WAS ON "SPORTSCENTER"...
THIS IS AN AUDITION.
THATS WHY HE KEPT SAYING "I WANT TO SHOW PPL THERES MORE TO T.O. BEYOND FOOTBALL"
I know that first year in 2004 McNabb to Owens was
After years of McNabb throwing to Thrash and Pinkston, the fans were like in 2004
If you remember T.O. did not sign as a free agent but was traded to the Eagles because his original Agent did not file the proper paperwork in time.
Owens was eager to leave the 49ers but then the 49ers still owning his rights as a player tried to trade him to the Baltimore Ravens which TO wanted no part of. T.O. filed a grievance and was awaiting an arbitrators ruling
Before the grievance rulling could be heard, the NFL and 49ers Eagles and Raven reached a settlement on March 16, 2004. The Ravens got their second-round pick back from the 49ers , and the 49ers in turn received a conditional fifth-round pick and a player from the Eagles in exchange for the rights to T.O.. (T.O. was never a free agent who can accept the best offer from a team)
The Eagles quickly gave him a 7 year 49 million plus a ten million dollar signing bonuses (which is a bad deal considering a NFL player could be cut at anytime which the most pay coming at years 4 5 6 7 of T.O.'s contract)
What T.O. did (which was dumb) was File a grievance and quickly accepted a bad contract from a team he desperately wanted to play for brokered by a inept agent (instead of risking going to Baltimore).
That was on T.O. for signing a bad contract and not waiting for the arbitrator to perhaps officially rule him as a free agent in equity.
If he didn't like the contract that he agreed to, all he had to do was holdout during preseason next year instead of running his mouth, the eagles who wanted to return to the superbowl the easy way would have at least listened to him.
On a side note: That was f'd up what McNabb did for Westbrook, Lobbying for him to get a new contract but not T.O.
BUT
McNabb must have been everytime he saw T.O. complain about his deal the next year. Westbrook was like a rookie at the time, T.O. was there for a minute and should have known to hire Rosenhaus as soon as his free agent year began.
Dude just said "shyt" on live television. I think that's the slip up Chicago talking about. I thought I was the only 1 that caught it. Dude was like "shyt i'm special too". I think they was talking bout Nash or Tebow. This was on NNL.
3 Things.
1. T.O didn't want to shake Skip's hand and tried to avoid it until Skip basically begged him.
2. Cari was co-signing T.O like she never has anybody else. I knew she was gonna make a pass at him at the end by complimenting him on his physical. Had a guy done that to her it's sexual harrasment btw.
3. T.O is on Numbers never lie right now on ESPN and Hugh is kissing his ass. T.O must've placed dynamite on Hugh's face.
shyts embarrassing. Fam should just be a man. Stop the crying. Stop the buckdancing. Take your L like a man. Accept the fact that you fukked off your career and fade the fukk out like Doughboy did in Boyz In The Hood.
