With a contract u pay all types of taxes and fees
Prepaid is straight cash, no taxes or fees

I don't get the no contract hype. There are circumstances where no contract is cheaper. There are circumstances where having a contract is cheaper.

All in all, I think the hype about no contract is overblown. I don't see any problem with a contract.

in which circumstance is a contract cheaper?

Equipment Installment payments pretty much nullify the value of the T-Mobile plans. With AT&T I can pretty much get a great phone off Amazon between .01 and $100 with no damn equipment installment plan fee.

I will look at the T-Mobile plan but it is not some great big deal that is gonna offer clear cut savings in all scenarios, imo, since I can get phones at great prices with contract renewal with Amazon and a few other places.

The T-Mobile setup is solid and good but people acting like it is some standout and the clear way to go are mistaken.

Just called and changed my plan up..no more throttling of data@5 gigs and unlimited everything for $65 after a migration fee next month. Brought up the loyalty and time with them and made things fall into place. Good deal. Win OR GO HOME:boss:

Got a partial upgrade that is on deck too and that will be used for Samsung S4:yes:

Yeah paying $500-700 for each phone for a family and then still paying for the monthly price like in other countries is so much better :bryan:

IF YOU AIN'T OLD ENOUGH TO BUY YOUR OWN PHONE YOU SHOULDN'T BE GETTING A 500-700 DOLLAR PHONE ANYWAYS. AND YOU'RE PAYING MORE FOR THE PHONES WITH THIS SYSTEM ANYWAY.
