We're not talkin about rick ross because rick ross has nothing to do with this thread. Even then, he gets his fair share of hate on thecoli as it is so i don't know what youre getting at with this post.

And no, Rick Ross is in no way shape or form as embarrassing to hip hop as Iggy Azealea. Fraud or not, dude has classic HIP HOP songs under his belt and at times has actually proven himself to be a talented artist. Iggy on the other hand is a fraud with NO talent as an emcee whatsoever, yet she has more hit songs and is a more well known "rapper" than most hip hop legends.

Which makes it all the more crazier as to why Iggy is talked about on here daily. If Iggy's a fraud with no talent, why is she even discussed here at all when there are MC's who aren't fraudulent and who have talented aren't. There's no way to control how many hit songs she has or will possibly continue to have. What can be controlled is the amount of attention she gets on here, but people will still continue to talk about her.

I have met Australian racists,including a particularly virulent one on YouTube that seemed obsessed with blacks. There are European racists all over. At base, Australians are transplanted Englishmen. Their culture, appearance and mannerisms are Anglo European (even more so than the USA), which is a culture and people based in white invasion and supremacy. Just like the cacs in America wiped out the Natives, so the cacs in Australia wiped out the aborigines. Their people are unrepentant and rationalize the genocide was akin to bringing civilization to a savage group just like cacs in the USA (not everyone but most people, similar to conservative cacs in the USA when they talk about the Natives). To assert it is more acceptable for a foreigner to rap and less acceptable for an American white is wrongheaded and absurd insofar as the two groups' history is not so different. Either say rap is for everyone (which it is) for for none. The main reason they don't talk about blacks is because they have little reference with us living so far away. A proxy for their racism is against the Australian Aborigines, Maoris, virtually every non-white group over there. I'm not against whomever trying to rap as rap is dead anyway, but people should stop short of trying to make widespread generalizations about anti-blackness in the world. The only difference between one cac group here and another cac group there is location.

Aborigines ARE black they're just not from Africa they're native toAustralia. They have been here for at least 40-50,000 years I believe it's the oldest living culture in the world. There wasn't the systemised slavery that you had in USA and there are lots of other differences but lots of similarities when it comes to racism towards black fellas in Oz. Because we didn't have slavery in the same way as USA we never had that "we own you" type of mentality in the country it's more like they're not human or not worthy of the same treatment as the whitefella. There's still the police brutality and prejudice like USA and there's the blacks are all just criminals and bludger mentality in the general community.

Aboriginals can be dark as fukk like almost purple or they can whiter than me. I think it's not the dominant gene like the African type generally is. You can have blonde blue eyed white aboriginals these days because of interbreeding, rape in the past and intermarriage these days. In general most aborigines here have a better connection to their original culture than the black Americans. Many aborigines still know their dreaming or parts of their language, more so in the bush areas but many city dwellers go in the mission for weeks at a time or longer to be in contact with their history and culture.

Did he really say this? Is he retarded?? What is it with some Black people thinking racism is specifically American. I honestly don't know if they've ever heard of colonialism and the plight of indigenous (often brown) people in this world, including the aboriginals in Australia. There was no United States when slavery began in this country, that received just a fraction of our people..so our experience isn't even unique...racism exists all around the world. Second, people are free to like and embrace whoever they like, for whatever reason including no reason, at all.
