My main issue isn’t necessarily the vibes it’s moreso I can’t listen to an entire album like that, it’s also the lack of creativity with writing.

I mentioned it in a previous thread but there’s a severe lack of metaphoric writing as well as alluding to a person of interest without the listener knowing the identity or gender. The song topics also feels…recycled, no nuance. It feels like more singers are on some “this is my personal diary I ain’t got time for all that”. I respect it, times change, music changes, I get it but…I’m not gonna call it good just because you put every thought to paper, went in the booth witcha lil whiny voice, and said here.

You punish me by making me listen to 22 songs in the streaming era, they better goddamn be immaculate pieces of work you muddasucka
