Word . I actually liked the 3rd episode, as they slowed down on the plot and focused on developing the characters. The stuff with Alice and her brother is an important part of the book and it helped to illustrate where she is coming from .

Plus the convo with Quentin and Julia showed again how much of a dikk he can be and the eroding of their friendship.

The Hedge Witches reminded me a little of F-Society from "Mr Robot". If this show had come out later, I would be calling them a ripoff.

Pretty weird seeing "F-Society" existing in the same universe with "Hogwarts" and "Narnia" substitutes.

The show has done a solid job in picking up the book the unhappiness of Quentin. He really is someone who discovers magic is real, that Fillory is real, and still it isn't enough for him. Also the evolution of Julia becoming a magic junkie.

Kady's mom in this episode . Marina is not one to be messed with .

Eliot and Margo make for a nice comedic pair, when they told the gang they would have to blow the horse .

Nice to see they let Alice expose the puppies some this episode . She's buttoned up which fits with her character, but the actress who plays her (Olivia Dudley) has some nice ones .
