BingoThere's some quote I read that stays with me that sums a lot of these concepts up in sentence:
and in the diminishment of power that occurs when a man loses his ability to exert violence or a woman ages out of her capacity to seduce
Bill burr has a whole bit about it how Hollywood actresses always act like they support women but their agent and entire team surrounding them are menShe’s right.
Most women hate each other deep down
She’s become a better actress than I expectedShe was really good in Reality from last year
it's the story of that woman who was indicted for stealing files from the Pentagon and leaking them to The Intercept
it basically just her and two FBI agents for 2 hours, the script is line for line from teh FBI transcript of their interview , so not a lot of style or distraction or comedy, like Euphoria or White Lotus
sort of like the election
it's all words but when it's time for action their real intentions show
I was with you until you started projecting stuff on to me. I’m not woman, just like you’re not a man so there are experiences we have that are unique to us. I specifically speaking to the notion that “there can only be one” still being widespread and it being based disproportionately on looks. I never said women aren’t judged a certain way by society or that there are not unique pressures placed on women. If Stacey Abrams looked like Kamala Harris she would’ve been Biden’s VP. I get all that. I was providing nuance and I think you misinterpreted and you’re responding to things I didn’t say in a very general way. My post isn’t “against” your post - it’s providing color and context. You don’t get it because you aren’t a woman. I listen to older women because that whole becoming “invisible” thing is real and happens to most. You can prolong it if you actually look good, but I’ve literally had patients in my office talk to other staff and their face and attitude completely change when they see me, or hell, light up even more if there’s a girl younger than me.
It’s a real thing, and that’s what women react to.
It’s not about hating each other. It’s about hating how how society treats women and us not knowing how to verbalize it or deal with it.
You have to learn/be taught not to internalize society’s beauty standards.
So some men get jealous when they encounter a man who is more successful than them. But guess what? If you put in the work you will be like him.
When a woman sees a really attractive woman, especially if she doesn’t look old yet, there’s nothing you can do because women are judged by the looks we were born with. A short, ugly man can still get his money and status up. An unattractive woman can’t actually DO anything about her face (unless she gets surgery or wears make up all the time).
This is why ppl say you’re lucky when you are born with good looks. You were blessed with something that gives you favor and you didn’t have to work for it.
Society is shallow as hell. And ppl understand that a pretty woman can receive great things in life simply because of her looks.
So it’s not about hating other women, per se. It’s hating that society ranks/rates you in a way that you can’t help or change. A man can change society’s perception of him based on his success.
That’s why I said she needs to soak it up and run up the bag. No one wants to say “you’re young and hot and you can get whatever you want right now”.
And she isn’t my cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean I can’t acknowledge that she’s hot right now.
You know how many women of all races probably wanted to kill Halle or Salma simply because they were born with beautiful faces and bodies to match?
no Surprisefor all the other shyt that they say behind everyone’s back."
for context
Vanity Fair: This spring, your team fought back when a producer called your looks and talent into question. Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence have discussed the tendency to knock women performers down when they’re at their professional peak. Why do you think that is?
Sydney Sweeney: It’s very disheartening to see women tear other women down, especially when women who are successful in other avenues of their industry see younger talent working really hard—hoping to achieve whatever dreams that they may have—and then trying to bash and discredit any work that they’ve done. This entire industry, all people say is “Women empowering other women.” None of it’s happening. All of it is fake and a front for all the other shyt that they say behind everyone’s back.
I mean, there’s so many studies and different opinions on the reasoning behind it. I’ve read that our entire lives, we were raised—and it’s a generational problem—to believe only one woman can be at the top. There’s one woman who can get the man. There’s one woman who can be, I don’t know, anything. So then all the others feel like they have to fight each other or take that one woman down instead of being like, Let’s all lift each other up. I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m just trying my best over here. Why am I getting attacked?

Sydney Sweeney on ‘Euphoria,’ Her Rise as a Producer, and Misconceptions: “I Don’t Get to Control My Image”
While waiting to shoot season three of HBO’s drama, she produced the smash ‘Anyone but You,’ and dove into some intense roles.www.vanityfair.com
I only saw her in that Immaculate movie and she barely did any lifting in that film. She lacked presence compared to The First Omen's leading ladies.fukk them cause in reality Sydney is a very good actress. If she was getting by solely on her looks I could see why people would be jealous but she's actually talented
They all "get it" when they're in their 20s. Then they marry RFK Jr.
I like a good looking white woman like any red blooded male, but they're probably more full of shyt than any class of people alive.
Most people get a little more "conservative" as they age, but nobody switches up the playbook and does more of a 180 than white women.
I'm sure if she was brave enough to name some of the names of the women she's talking about who are giving her a hard time behind closed doors, you could go back to the early 00s or the 90s and they have similar quotes in their interviews that she's giving now.
