First off these aren’t running at 1080p

I have a deck. These videos make it look good. But playing any of these games on it is a trash experience and it kills the battery in like an hour. And the switch 2 probably will not even match the deck in power.

DLSS isn’t magic. It cost performance to use. Meaning the switch 2 would be working from like 500p to try to squeeze that all the way up to 1080p that won’t make for a good image at all.

And what handheld in existence is as powerful as a PS5?

Besides, if Nintendo dropped the traditional console that isn't portable, they would charge $800 just to break even, thus dooming the console from the start.

Honestly leaks are saying this shyt is gonna retail for $450, which is more than the steam deck and it's nowhere near as powerful. I dont really blame anyone for being upset that it's not as powerful as expected for that price.

I think a handheld as powerful as the ps4 is a big enough generational leap, for $299 lol. Nintendo is outta their minds if that price is true.

Back when the SNES was still a graphic king, not quite the same situation

graphically gamers are already living like 10 years in the future of nintendo. Either way i think the days of “weird nintendo” are probably over. Too much on the line to take extreme risks with their main and only hardware line now

The only ones that set themselves up for disappointment were the people expecting a handheld console from Nintendo to be on the same level as the ps5/series x

They've been a generation behind for decades now.

Problem is being a generation behind at this point is being over a decade old. And again, they are hustling the CURRENT SWITCH AT 300 DOLLARS PLUS!!!

Just plain greed.

Alot of next gen games are cross generation so if the switch 2 is about as powerful as a last gen console then developers should be able to port some current gen games. The Series S version of games should work fine

You know Nintendo since the GBA SP has also added a new dynamic to each of their consoles and handhelds. There just has to be something new to the Switch 2 because of their history at this point.

• GBA SP - Being able to charge it.
• DS - Two Screens
• Wii - Motion Controls
• 3Ds - 3D
• Wii U - GamePad as 2nd screen.
• Switch - Hybrid console.

Granted the 3D turned into something that gamers just turned off and most people opted to just get a 2DS. Which really shows how successful the DS was. Wii U was a giant bust with its marketing, but The Gamepad is prob the one gimmick that I would say is wack.

They have been a generation behind for 18 years. But Nintendo has always been greedy. So this isn't new stuff at all. The fact that Nintendo still has people buying Switches even when the new console announcement can happen at any time now, and it is very likely will happen by the end of the first quarter, is crazy. Just shows the power and influence they have where it is very similar to Disney. Nintendo is an affordable safe brand for parents and casuals.
