That's a real possibility though especially if Keith plays "seek and destroy"

I expect Thurman to box from the outside early, work the body, & land some power shots. Second half when Swift isn't as dangerous I think he'll sit a little more for power but in spots. I'll say this: if Thurman lands a right hand like he did in the 3rd or 4th round of his fight with Porter it's lights out. Porter's got titanium in his chin.

Very true, but Swift has a chin too. When was the last time you seen him hurt?

Granted One Time is gonna be the most powerful puncher he faced and his chin at Walterweight is unproven. So we'll have to see if he chin holds up :porter:

Matthysse Power is p4p breh fukk are you talking about fakkit.....:dahell:

One Time Power is the one with question marks; he couldn't drop Collazo who Khan dropped 5 times; and a historically chinny Porter who lil AB dropped like a sack of potatoes off one shot; ate Thurman so called shots for the 12th round; some "Times" power is the one in question here; do u see him making nikkas do backflips like Swift.....:stopitslime:

Lucas was a heavy puncher but Keith is bigger than Lucas and also has power. So that gives him the edge in my opinion.

It originally was a definite for me, but the prices are kinda high right now. I'll wait til the prices go down, but I'm most likely going

Don't think they'll go down. I've seen Danny fight twice at Barclays(once with good seats and once with nosebleeds) and unless you have decent seats I don't think it's worth it personally. Place is just too big.

Danny via ud. Keith is SUPER overstated. Hes a good athlete with trash skills. Keith only advantages are speed, length and foot speed.

I don't think Thurman has to even use all of his vaunted power to defeat Swift. I think the answer lies somewhere in between the Herrera and Peterson performances. The jab and the pressure. Herrera's' jab and Petersons late round pressure is what gave Danny problems in those fights. It wasn't power. I thought Herrera won a close/could go either way type of fight, and I thought Swift edged Peterson in a close one. Either way, those were both competitive fights.

I just think Thurman needs to build off of that and add his own unique twist to that combination.

Thurman should dial back the power and telegraphed big shots, and just aim to touch Danny consistently. Quick short shots in sporadic volleys that come after a stinging jab. (No flailing like Khan) Force him back with that throughout the fight and just use his footwork whenever Swift tries to counter or create exchanges.

The only time Thurman should throw with power is if he takes the Manny and Tarver approach of putting several light to medium punches together and then sneak in that one devastating blow within the combination.

That type of offense is harder to counter and offset than those big wide or looping bombs Thurman was throwing at Porter. He shouldn't be thinking KO, but scoring points and letting the opportunity for the KO gradually present itself.

Keith should not underestimate Danny at all. I know he wants to bomb that nikka out, but Swift is tough and game as fukk. He'll find a way to adapt to what Thurman is doing, if its too obvious.

How good is Keiths Jab??

I only watch his fights live N haven't rewatched, so my memory of his jab isn't so good

I member Him abandoning his jab vs Porter N I know his reach is only like 69

Is his jab better then PEDs?? Cuz Swift did much better vs PED jab then Herreras
