nikka, fukk the hood. The hood took several of his friends and family, but you're saying that it should be one of his main priorities?Nah. I used to think the same thing, but on the replay I realized Sweet was right. CJ ran from everything once Bryan died and Sweet had to watch over Kendall and his moms. His problem was never that CJ did that shyt it's that CJ went full, "fukk the hood" as soon as he got him out of prison. That was there home, all fukked up thanks to crack deals, betrayal and shyt and CJ rather than fix it up wants to abandon it instead. That's some disrespectful shyt after all Sweet has done. And again, it's not like CJ wasn't doing illegal shyt. CJ was still doing shyt for cacs and some chinese dude but didn't want to save his hood? I'd be mad, too. shyt, part of the reason Tenpenny exerts so much control is because of CJ's actions in the game. For him to be on some sunshine and rainbows shyt is fukked up. CJ realized that in the last mission when he told him he wanted to do it (kill Smoke) for Sweet, Bryan and his moms.
That's quite literally how a lot of these current rappers are getting murked — by going back to their hoods to try and show support. And that's mainly because, even amongst your friends, you'll have crabs in the bucket that will want what you have for themselves.
Fixing the hood calls for A LOT more than just having money. You have to literally FIX the kats that have a hood mentality, then convince them to give up on a life of crime so that the police don't immediately shut shyt down once they see 2 black men being the heads of of a lucrative criminal organization.
