1. Well it shouldnt be but, it is a mans decision in Swaziland. Thats how they plan on protecting their women and their culture, by modifying the way they dress. Just like lawmakers in Florida who outlawed saggy pants. I mean in America, regulations on attire exist and you eat that, why cant you eat this?

That was a racist (and anti-poor) measure. I didn't "eat" it, I thought it was trash.

2. Im sure if they can prove that he was involved in a non consensual affair, they will punish the man at the same time. In the meantime, Swaziland feels its necessary to also modify the way women dress to maintain the respect necessary to avoid rapes in their country. They are not at a point culturally where women who dress like whores are part of the mainstream. In Swaziland, this is not respectable attire. You're looking at things from the perspective of a man whos been conditioned to see scandelous clothing as good, where other cultures, do not.

What does respect have to do with rape? We've already established that attire and rape have no significant connection to one another. Swaziland can either actually deal with the root causes of rape or just keep sticking its head in the sand. I'm not thinking about scandalous clothing one way or another. I'm thinking of what causes rape, and targeting it, and this law does not do that. The question of clothing is irrelevant, whether scandalous or modest.

I thin in their culture, they're dealing with the root cause.
