That was the other side of the planet to me back then although my cousin owned a store on College and 168th
My nikka was a street scholar. First time in awhile I had to look up a word while surfing thecoliI got out because my girlfriend at the time believed in me and convinced me I was too smart to be a drug dealer my who life. Had my GED at the time, no felonies, and decided that college was a real possibility.
There isn't much in terms of practical skills. I had to learn how to be passive aggressive in my current field. You can't hit someone in the head with a baseball bat when they undermine you in my current world. I guess just general toughness and not taking things too personally. People will always operate out of self aggrandizement and avarice no matter where you find yourself.
Never dealt with any plugs, above my pay grade. All of our stuff came from the Chinese back then though, hence China White. What race was your plug?
How much did you make a month on avg?
What was the most dangerous crew you knew of?
Don't know anything about Bronx street politics in 2018. We didn't have Bloods when I was coming up. That started to appear as I was transitioning away from the streets. That side went to war with the whole Bronx in 2011. That’s a blue zone now.
White collar corporate job, won't go into details. What do you do know?
Biggest regret you left with?
The Harlem crew? That was West Side, had no direct interaction with street figures on that side. That was another world.Did you know any of the NFL (and I don't mean football)? My father used to talk about it in passing (name withheld).
Yes, we ran in the same circles as a lot of athletes/rappers... they all wanted to be seen with us and we wanted to be seen with them, it was a mutually beneficial thing.Did you meet any celebrities?
oh ok.. got u. yeah 139th street. The Harlem crew? That was West Side, had no direct interaction with street figures on that side. That was another world.
The projects weren't even the worst part of the Bronx/uptown back then. NYC wasn't like Chicago in that sense. Wagner where I grew up in East Harlem might have been an exception. Wagner was a very wild project.which p's were the livest¿*
. Uptown by my era most of the legends were Rican/Dominican
They were Dominican crack dealers. We knew of them. We didn't move tops we moved brands of dope. That was Chango and Titon ?, you were with the yellow top crew era or that was before your time?
