Like I said in TLR. I think the midterm went from the Democrats getting their asses handed to them, to now at least 50/50.
You'd fukking think, right? But I'm still not even that optimistic. I think Biden's approval rating and inflation is going to still make things difficult for the Dems. People fall into facism, authoritarian, and bigotry during times of economic struggle and strife. And people are really hurting right now.

Bu Bu Bu Bu Hillary called black men super predators :damn:

Lemme vote for Gary Johnson cause I’m woke :damn:
Setting also aside the point that Gary Johnson is a fukking moron that also likely doesn't give a fukk about minorities or women in any meaningful way. Libertarians only passively support underprivileged folks when it's convenient for their other views like being able to smoke weed and not pay taxes. Libertarianism is truly the "leave me alone, dad, I can do what I want" political ideology.

if there's a silver lining here, the Orange fakkit's political career is officially over

democrats would get to not only make 2024 all about trump losing 2020 like a little bytch, and his violent riot on january 6th, but also the fact that he's now the face of making abortion illegal in america. he did that

republicans running trump is now AT LEAST the dems' best shot at holding the white house, if not a good shot

I don't think abortion rights are what drive a lot of the population to vote one way or the other.

Making abortions illegal doesn’t stop abortions, it only stops people from having safe abortions!
i still think this leads to some nationwide program that helps women get to blue states. rich liberals and hollywood would be all over something like that

and even this fukkin court cant overrule that, because when you're in a state, that state's law is the law

dems really need to start calling out how this activist, extremist court is legislating from the bench. republicans dont get to use that term ever again

I'm not optimistic as well. But I'm being gracious because fear can be a hell of a motivator if used and guided correctly.

Don't worry guys. The democrats got this. They have decided to hold a choir session to do... Something I don't know.

Also, Nancy Pelosi said if you donate just 15 bucks and vote for them again, they will definitely codify it in law this time. Please ignore they failed to do so over a 50 year period when they held super majorities.

I don't know about you guys, but democrats inspire a lot of confidence in me that they plan to actually act and not just perform useless symbolism. Surely, it's not a ruse, this time. I'm sure this is up right after they pass legislation to protect voting rights. Any day now...

As usual, republicans talking about activists judges is just them projecting exactly what they are.

Wrong. Dems are in control of all three legislative branches, they could revoke the filibuster and codify Roe into law today. They could also expand the Supreme Court and have a pro-choice group send up a challenge so the court could rule in pro-choice favor.

Instead, they will just do this:
They love to embarrass themselves. :mjlol:

At the end of the day, cost of living has a lot more day-to-day impact on the average person's life than abortion rights

  • What can Dems do. They don't have 60 vote majority of the equivalent in the House and Senate.
We saw what happened when they did have the numbers back in 2009. They could have codified Roe v. Wade into law right then. Obama had even campaigned on it.

They chose not to. They could have done it. THEY CHOSE NOT TO.

Obama turned around and said "Oh, that old thing. Sorry, that isn't actually a priority."

So don't give us this shyt about Dem numbers. They had them. They chose not to use them. They want to campaign and fundraise, they do not want to protect rights or solve issues. They proved this.

So voters are never at fault for poor decisions? Or do you think Trump is objectively a better candidate to vote for than Hillary?

It's not about Hillary or any progressive vs. moderate nonsense. Hillary herself is irrelevant, my point is that voters in America don't act in their own interest. I don't blame people for not voting for Hillary per se, I blame people who didn't and then are acting like they don't share blame for the consequences of their decision.

Hillary is irrelevant, but the Supreme Court isn't, and people should be smart enough to know that.
On one hand I feel you. On the other hand...yes, people should be smart enough to know that, but they aren't, and our education system sucks, and our politicians lie to us.

I definitely hold a ton of anger to voters that vote against their best interests. But I simultaneously hold anger towards disinformation outlets that lie to them 24/7.
