I must say, I like the how Clark is casually putting on his suit while there's an alien invasion going on in the background. "Goddammit, I'm going to have to cancel my plans with Lois again. Son of a bytch." That seems like a gag that you'd see in the DCAU. I like the Kingdom Come influences too.

The fact Gunn is emphasizing the man part by having Clark doing something mundane and relaxed instead of the usual fist on hips or action pose gives me hope Gunn understands the assignment how to differentiate this version

Anyway, I like the suit. I just wish that the colors were a little bit brighter.

Everyone is talking about the trunks but I'm surprised by the collar. The suit looks bulky but I'll withhold judgement until I see it in motion with the usual post-production cleanup that all these suits get.
