Why wouldn't it? Snyder's superman was hard mid, don't try and fake like it was some masterpiece that can never be topped or outdone.

Gunn's got some big shoes to fill and Routh/Reeves reboot isn't going to cut it in 2025...

The tone already feels like the Brandon Routh film...which was beyond awful.

Maybe Gunn is banking on people forgetting about that film?

And how many characters is he trying to cram into this movie?

Frank Quitely has a unique style of illustrating. Back when I read comics his run on the Authority was dope. His All-Star Superman run was good too.
