I'm trying to figure out what he "lost" since they resurrected him, since Aquaman brought it up. Superman and WW were definitely not on the same level in BVS.

Superman threw that motherfukker into space, duked it out in space and then took a nuke. This was AFTER inhaling Kryptonite bombs.

When he came back he also threw him around, then flew a KRYPTONITE spear into his chest, and jammed it in there AFTER he got stabbed in the chest.

WW took some hits and cut Doomsdays hand off, but she definitely wasn't on the power tip like Superman was - she just enjoys fighting and is more skilled in that shyt.

the point of them forming the JL was to fight evil they couldn't fight alone. Superman's 10 minute screen time invalidates them being a team in the first place. He's more competent and powerful than them put together.

At least the comics and cartoons showed how every league member had a place in the story. In the DCU, the only thing the JL is good for is bringing Superman back to life.

Cap struggled against Loki then put beats on Proxima Midnight.
Thor got that work from a dark elf and then one shotted thanos with an infinity gauntlet.
Ironman was getting shot down by tank shells and now can take a moon to the face without blinking.

I have a feeling Captain Marvel will start out like Ironman level (except obviously she does it organically without a suit.) Flies, strong, can shoot energy blasts, etc.

He's the answer to everything in the comics/cartoons. Thats why they usually "knock him out" or teleport him somewhere. The funny thing being; his weakness to all things magic is never used. So he's just a walking deus ex machina. This is why Teen Titians (OG) was the best. Everyone got a crowning moment of awesome. I still love Cyborg's arcs. From Victor Stone, to him fighting Atlas.

The problem is they downplay the other characters' unique talents. Batman is never the detective who figures out shyt nobody else can and comes up with tactical master plans. Flash ain't a forensics cop in this so they don't use his scientific knowledge, or the flexibility of his talents beyond running and hitting fast (think vibrating through mass, creating vacuums, etc.), Wonder Woman is never shown to be the best hand-to-hand combatant they have as well as a perfect all-rounder who, unlike Supes, can handle magic and mystical elements and Aquaman, well, they never did anything interesting with Aquaman because they were too busy to make him look like a tough guy.

He did wash Hulk without using any Stones....re-watch the scene. Any time he used a Stone it would light up....he never used the Power Stone when he fukked up Hulk.

People tend to forget Thanos is a beast even without the Gauntlet.
