Whedon basically changed every single scene of superman in the film. That part of him leaving to save the civilians was so forced and corny.
That trailer scene of Clark and Lois on the farm looked to be one of the best scenes they had together and then in the film Whedon changed it to them talking about him being itchy and her telling him he smells good
Further we get away from the film the more

Superman can go toe to toe with Darkseid, Steppenwolf is significantly weaker.Him completely WASHING steppenwolf was stupid. I understand him being the strongest member. But the way he casually handled dude that was giving the team fits was OD.
