Women who hate Bernie. The former HRC voters who would vote for a woman on the ticket over anything. Announcing that first and getting a jump on Joe there would be pretty big, IMO. Moderates did some out of left field shyt with the Voltron stuff and caught everybody off guard.

Bernie has to shake it up in a compatible manner and do it FAST. I mean before the 10th. No debates between now and the next states. He has to do something drastic that makes waves or else he’s fukked. Gotta go full normie and push for shock and awe

Meh, I’m not sold on what she brings to the table. I definitely wouldn’t reward her with a V.P spot.

I agree with you. I don't think Joe Biden is a particularly inspiring Policy candidate. I've been critical of him from that standpoint before he even announced his run.

But as the results come in I have to accept that his old school style of politics still resonates with voters more than it should and with regard to black voters I think that's why.

It's not even that any of the line items by themselves are the end all be all, it's just that whole package of his return to normalcy, people wanting someone to defeat Trump, and his long standing in roads with black voters has had the affect they hoped for.

I remember going into the first primary the narrative was Turning out new young voters vs Getting your old reliable base to turn out.

We'll see how it turns out as we move closer to a 2 man race.:ehh:

What can we do to shake it up? Or what would you do? Honestly asking.

We have to shake it up or it’s gonna get ugly. Bernie/Warren would really cause some panic by the establishment but they already blew their panic button load unless Obama speaks up. But maybe I’m naive but I believe Obama wouldn’t smack the gavel to interfere until it’s practically over.

guess I’m going more for spectacle more than anything. I think women voters would be much more willing to vote for a female for VP than President as fukked up as that may sounds

you're gonna tell me that hillary clinton is perceived better by voters than joe biden :dahell:

awful, awful take :mjlol:
not necessarily but if that was the case his time was 4 years ago :heh:

Trump is an incumbent. Nothing else needs to be said after that. There have only been 3 one term presidents since WW2(Gerald Ford, was never elected to begin with but assumed the role after JFKs assassination, it's likely only 2 ifjfk is never kileld) despite living in a liberal bubble of NYC and a skewed online demographic of young people I am well aware that old folks still like Trump enough for him to win.

Clinton was weak. Biden is also weak but has the disadvantage of facing an incumbent. Maybe if he had Obama's gift of gab he'd have a great shot but the man cant start and finish a single sentence without sounding like a 17 year old stuck in the 7th grade.

Biden doesn't do eniught to excite the base and usher in the new voters that it would take to take down Trump. Meanwhile Trumps base is as enthusiastic about him as Sanders' base is about Sanders. When your biggest argument for president is(at least I'm not Trump) you can expect the same result as 2016

I hope the DNC ordered MAGA hats for all its members because the Trump train is leaving the station for another 4 years.

I saw his post, but in respect to the board I didn't quote his lengthy post.

You can thank Sanders for pushing some of these topics to the forefront and you can be happy that he is. But It may be time to accept that progressives no longer have a monopoly on these ideas and in at least 3 cases Americans seems to prefer the compromise position more than the purity approach.
Word. I respect and agree with most of what you’re saying. But I think you can also agree that Americans often prefer the inferior product. I think progressives should continue attempting to push people left. We’re in a better spot than we were 4 years ago for it. In another 4 years who knows where we’ll be? We may never win, but we can drag these fukkers as far as they’re willing to go each time.

Painfully obvious moderates came together and a call was placed to Liz to stay in order to stop Bernie.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Healthcare stocks:to: I'm gonna have to go raise my kids in europe if we don't get this healthcare shyt fixed
I've been looking at Portugal lately.

My wife had a baby and even with good insurance we had to pay like $10K between the deducticles and hospital bills.

That don't even include the premium she pays out her check every 2 weeks.

What states is Trump winning? Is he going to hold every state he won in '16?

Look at the margins and turnout for the progressive vote. Do you REALLY think 2 progressives would have a chance to be 1 and 2 ahead of Biden?

Strategically one had to go and Liz ended up selling out and betraying her campaign message to stop bernie anyway.

I think if they did it from the beginning, they'd have a much better chance right now.

Liz could have used her establishment influence to bring the party closer to Bernie's message and could have earned him some friends within the party. That way if liz fell off, the party wouldn't have been so opposed to Bernie since he tried taking liz to the top with him. And if Bernie failed, he could have still had liz to fall back on.

Bernie supporters put liz on the defensive and she pushed back in a way that killed her buzz with progressives. Now Bernie needs help and liz isnt in a position to give it to him, and maybe she's too bitter to help him anyway which is wrong for her to do, but progressive voters made it that way.

Progressives ain't getting shyt done now, this is officially a shyt show.
