He wants to troll the Democratic voter base by using actions toward Sanders to hurt the DNC and media's credibility. They threw the kitchen sink at Bernie and slogged through an impeachment for Biden. Republicans will weaponize all of it.

Dotard can see that but yall deny it.

His post is actually proof that Trumps rhetoric is effective on some people. Trump will say anything he thinks will divide & conquer. Fall for the okey doke brehs.

Very true. Maybe an enthusiastic Warren endorsement or even her joining the ticket could change that. No, she’d definitely have to be on the ticket. These Warren stans absolutely idolize her in a way that makes me believe a lot of the ones left are all former Hillary stans. If she begged them some would probably fall in line. Who knows. Sanders/Warren with Warren headlining next for 2024 would be incredible for this country

I think Warren would make a good president or V.P even after all the snake shyt she has pulled.

But electorally speaking, exactly what does she bring to the table at this point and going forward?

If you can’t win your own state, are you an asset to the campaign?

The announcement from Gabbard’s nine followers surprised many Democrats, who had been unaware that the Hawaii congresswoman was still running.

A spokesperson praised Gabbard’s campaign, noting, “By not appearing in the past two debates, she did much better than Mike Bloomberg.”

Women who hate Bernie. The former HRC voters who would vote for a woman on the ticket over anything. Announcing that first and getting a jump on Joe there would be pretty big, IMO. Moderates did some out of left field shyt with the Voltron stuff and caught everybody off guard.

Bernie has to shake it up in a compatible manner and do it FAST. I mean before the 10th. No debates between now and the next states. He has to do something drastic that makes waves or else he’s fukked. Gotta go full normie and push for shock and awe

See @Rhakim ’s post. Most people support most of these things. We’re lead to believe people don’t by the MSM
I saw his post, but in respect to the board I didn't quote his lengthy post.

And I said, yes people support those ideas. They also support the moderate proposals. So here we go:

claim 1: 70% of americans support M4A:
Public Opinion on Single-Payer, National Health Plans, and Expanding Access to Medicare Coverage

KFF polling finds more Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents would prefer voting for a candidate who wants to build on the ACA in order to expand coverage and reduce costs rather than replace the ACA with a national Medicare-for-all plan (Figure 12).

Claim 2: 60% of Americans supports free college tuition

Almost every study I've seen puts it around 52-57% max, but here's one from may of last year.
A new Quinnipiac University poll finds 52 percent of voters oppose making all public colleges in the U.S. free. Only 45 percent support free public college.

Fifty-four percent of voters oppose and 41 percent of voters support free public college even if it is paid for by a new tax on wealthy individuals.

The poll also found that 57 percent of voters support having the federal government forgive up to $50,000 in student loans for people making less than $250,000 a year. Senator Elizabeth Warren has proposed offering up to $50,000 in student loan forgiveness to borrowers with a household income of up to $100,000. Borrowers with six-figure incomes would receive graduated loan forgiveness unless they earn more than $250,000 under the Warren plan.

Fifty-two percent of voters said they would oppose a loan forgiveness plan if it were paid for by a new tax on the wealthy, according to the poll.

To be fair, in contrast I have seen a lot more support if this action is taken at the state level.

Claim 3: 75% of American Support the Green New Deal:

Screen-Shot-2019-05-07-at-2.18.42-PM.png

Overall it appears Americans support action on climate change with a lot of Variance among republicans and solid support among dems. However, when we break out the various tenants of the GND it becomes a lot trickier.

For example:

The poll found that just under half of American adults — 46 percent — said the United States needs to “drastically reduce” fossil fuel use in the next few years to avoid the worst effects of climate change, while 41 percent said a gradual reduction in fossil fuel usage is needed. Another 12 percent said nothing needs to be done to avoid the most severe impacts.

Among adults who have heard at least a little about the Green New Deal, 53 percent said it is not realistic while 40 percent said it is achievable. Teenagers (57 percent) and adults under age 30 (54 percent) who have heard about it were more likely than older adults to think the Green New Deal is realistic.

Claim 4: 67% of Americans support raising the min wage to 15/hr.

I think this is pretty accurate, but this isn't limited to progressive dems.

Even Biden is on that wave
Joe Biden calls for $15 minimum wage at first 2020 campaign stop

Claim 5: 74% of Americans support a 2% wealth tax

Pretty Straight forward. Everyone supports this, even republicans.

Warren’s proposal calls for a tax of 2% on wealth over $50 million and 3% on wealth over $1 billion. The presidential candidate estimates it would apply only to 75,000 of the richest families and would raise $275 billion a year.

A larger number of millionaires also support an income tax rate of 70% on those making more than $10 million – a suggestion floated by Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. And a majority support repealing the 2017 tax cuts on companies.

“Over the years, we have seen that this population is willing to pay more,” said George Walper, president of Spectrem Group, which conducted the study with CNBC. The survey polled 750 people with investible assets of $1 million or more. Of the respondents, 261 were Republicans, 261 were independent and 218 were Democrats.

Millionaires do want to preserve one form of tax savings – deductions. Fully 72% oppose eliminating all deductions, which include the mortgage deduction and charitable deduction. They also strongly oppose taxing unrealized capital gains, a proposal made by Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore.

You can thank Sanders for pushing some of these topics to the forefront and you can be happy that he is. But It may be time to accept that progressives no longer have a monopoly on these ideas and in at least 3 cases Americans seems to prefer the compromise position more than the purity approach.
