Finally got everyone :whew:
Wolf, Chrom, and Mewtwo are getting put on the team. Chrom is kinda cheap IMO, might become the new Cloud

I'm working on some tech that i saw the cpu do...the best use of air dodging seems to be on short hops. Short hop, air dodge to the other side of your opponent and use your fastest smash attack, or grab if close enough. Still working on it

I was doing classic mode with Luigi, and during the boss battle I couldn’t get any damage on him af all. I thought maybe I had to let the time run out, but that wasn’t it either since it just had me redo the battle. Tried again, still couldn’t do anything :dahell:
Dracula? Jump and hit em in the head: hit em in the head when he open his cape

Fighting level 7's now. Lil Mac, Young Link, and Shulk are my faves so far. I use Simon for rematching previous challengers though. Got about 35 characters unlocked so far.

So how in the blue hell do you contact someone on your friends list that you want to play with??? If I turn on the game, and see that a friend is playing, how do I contact them or invite them to play? Only thing I could find was that voice chat only works when you’re in the arena. Is there a way to start an arena and invite someone to it that isn’t playing a different mode...or a different game altogether? Because from what I can tell, unless you have a persons phone number, or organize a game like you guys are doing on this forum, there is literally no way to invite someone to a match, or communicate with them in any way. What the hell am I missing?
:skip:
Seriously, I was wondering about that. Like how can you invite or even communicate with your FRIENDS that you created a lobby ON the Switch itself? Nintendo man. It's ridiculous. The flagship title's online system is still behind games that launched on the original Xbox in 2004. Like, when can we get these fun Nintendo titles to perform like a modern game on the other consoles? Even the fukking VITA had better online structure as well as the PS3 and those were FREE. :snoop:

I seen my cousin playing online yesterday.
I spend 15 minutes on google and on the switch trying to figure out how I send him a message or invite letting him know I wanted to play with him.
I gave up when I realized the only REAL option would have been to pick up the phone, call him, set up the lobby, and tell him when and where to join.
It seriously makes me wonder why Nintendo bothered with a friend's list at all.
If I wanna play with a coli breh, I don't want to have to go into the arcadium, make a post, and check on that post every 10 minutes.
What the hell.

Yo get on The Coli at 7:32PM later today I will make a post with my arena ID and password for us to rock.

Also what's your friend code? At least with your friend code I can just search for active rooms that my friends have open and that'll save you the time of writing down the arena ID.

This shouldn't be the process.

If this was PS4/Xbox/PC?

*Sees Kamikaze online*

*Checks friend list from IN GAME and sends invite*

*Sees you have joined the lobby*

*Starts a match*

@Fatboi1 I feel like if someone told Nintendo all of this they would hit us with the Blizzard line: "Do you guys not have phones???"
It's like their logic is "You all have cell phones, why can't you just use your phone to text your friends the same way you would send a message on the console???"
They clearly don't care, or realize, that a lot of people have "friends" online but they don't go around giving everyone their personal cell phone number.

Right....and basically if you want to play online, you HAVE to sit in that arena screen and wait and see if anyone will join you.
So even if you did set up a time for tonight or something, you would have to just sit on that screen and wait for me to join.
If I run late, or you get tired of waiting, we basically miss our window and have to set a different "date" outside of the console altogether.
This is foolishness. A game this huge should not have such a terrible online system.
I thought for sure we would be able to send eachother messages through the smart phone app.
The app doesn't even let you communicate AT ALL unless you're in that room. Did you notice that?

The 8-4 and fiery moats
Been unlocking characters while getting a feel for the game since it’s been a few years since I played smash like that.

Still rocking with Link and Zelda for my mains. Haven’t unlocked my other main Falco yet. Just unlocked Simon Belmont last night and he’s pretty dope so far.

:martin: And I thought they said they were gonna up the CPU’s difficulty. Been taking out level 9’s like they’re nothing. I think there has been some improvement to them since the last game, but not much imo.

Let's battle tonight around 8:00PM EST, I'll send you a Microsoft Outlook appointment.

The ONE mode they have here that I'm shocked they actually have working is the search for players while playing another mode. that's actually a step forward even for modern games. You can search for parameters and then continue playing any other mode and when ready it'll transition to the online match. Them having THAT but not anything else is hilarious.
