You sure about that? I have a Pro controller with no drift issues. I've heard all the drama about joy cons having drift...nothing about Power As or Pro controllers sharing the issue.

I got 4 of the re-released OG GC controller, 2 for, 2 for my lil bro, because I knew Nintendo was going to be be on some degree of bullshyt with their production. Must have took them off the market after 3 months.

I have 3 Power A controllers. Two pro style (one wired, one wireless). One GameCube style. They all started drifting after a few months.

It’s a huge issue. Just read the amazon reviews. It’s like the #1 complaint for the 1 and 2 star reviews.

The good thing is they’ll send you replacements. But they take three weeks so I’m playing with this broke controller in the meantime getting frustrated.

I’ve had the controller below for almost 2 years and haven’t had any issues but that’s just my personal experience so to be fair I went on amazon and read some negative reviews and there are many complaints about the issues you brought up...but on a positive note @ best those complaints only represent 5% of 3200+ reviews

Used to be almost daily but Fire Emblem killed the Coli Smash community

Admittedly I didn’t play the first two months after it came out myself so I’m part of the problem


Used to be a good 6-8 of us who’d play regularly and you could usually count on at least one other person to be available most of the time. Mostly East coast players outside of myself who’s on AZ time. Join the coli discord and post up in the smash Bros section. I might get on later tonight if I can

Like @surf said, the official Nintendo-produced Pro Controller is in a class of it’s own. Crazy long battery life. Ergonomically perfect. Responsive. I’ve had no drift/input issues. At $70, it’s pretty damn steep, but I have 0 regrets buying it.

But if you’re 2 controllers deep, I totally understand why you would be against a 3rd...and I’ll be the first to say I definitey prefer the GC controller for Smash. Pro controller for literally anything else.

Well with school starting, there being a bunch of other games I would to play this semester(Three Houses, Link's Awakening, Astral Chain, Luigi's Mansion & Sword/Shield) and the fact that for me smash is becoming less interesting to me. IDK I'll probably play more when I am get through all the games I listed.

Which Link? because I have the most trouble with characters that have disjoints, and he Link's have a whole lotta that. zoning and spacing with the sword is what I see most BOTW Link's do. Only faced a couple who have some great bomb set ups and traps.

You have to have a micro SD card. just convert the vid to it, and then upload to computer. Or if you don't have a micro SD card, I believe you can upload it to shared content, and name the vid for us to find it. I'm not sure the time frame for shared content tho.
