Banjo is solid. Nothing too crazy but solid. Probably upper mid tier. That side b will catch u off guard at times.

damn Sakurai poured his heart out at the award show. basically saying Iwata's final request of him was to make a Smash game for the Switch. Also said for the people asking for Goku... it definitely ain't happening. it's for sure only gonna be characters that originated from Video Games.

For this game to be one of the premier titles for the Switch it's a shame they don't have a great controller option for it.

The joycons are terrible.

The PowerA wired and wireless, gamecube and pro controllers, have considerable drift after a couple of months. I have 3 of these and they're all unplayable.

And the official GC controller is like $150.

Fam, I've got 8 of them, they are fine. They work just like a regular controller, its the only way I play now.

eight 8bitdo wireless adapters for switch

eight gamecube controllers (you can get them cheap at amazon)

In total you can get both for like $40, its worth it if you play smash semi-regular and/or have people over often like me.

You sure about that? I have a Pro controller with no drift issues. I've heard all the drama about joy cons having drift...nothing about Power As or Pro controllers sharing the issue.

I got 4 of the re-released OG GC controller, 2 for, 2 for my lil bro, because I knew Nintendo was going to be be on some degree of bullshyt with their production. Must have took them off the market after 3 months.

I have had the gamecube controller that came out with Smash Ultimate and I have no drift issues. Neither does my pro controller.

It's easy. There's tons of characters they can cut not even including echoes.

Obviously u gotta have your mainstays but characters like Jigglypuff,Paultena,Corrin,Lucina etc are very easy cuts that no one would miss. And it's very possibly they just cut 3rd parties out entirley.

That's why even though im not a fan of none of these dlc characters besides banjo i respect Sakurai for going all out and adding literal WTF characters. He knows just like everyone else no future smash game is gonna have this many characters so as long as nintendo is footing the bill go crazy while u can.


Here's hoping we eventually get Sora and Shantae!!!
