Nintendo really is flexing on the rest of the industry with this game. 70+ characters, 100+ stages, 800+ music tracks, dozens of game modes and QoL enhancements, and it's all in the base game. Other companies would have put half this shyt behind DLC, season passes, and preorder bonuses.
The irony is that having the base game be this feature rich makes me more likely to purchase DLC, personally, because I don't feel like I'm being cheated by paying full price.
Like, these nikkas modeled, textured, rigged, and animated like a dozen Castlevania monsters all so they can jump out at you on one stage. And then recorded 34 tracks for that same stage. For one stage, my nikkas. In the base game. Ain't too many companies doing shyt like that.
