For me its the OG Mario Kart. It was all skill no bullshyt. Koopa was my main because he was the most balanced in speed and control. But I thought I was the only nikka who still remembered those blockbuster tournaments. Made it to the semi's before getting wrecked by this lil asian kid in TMNT fighting game because my mom wouldnt rent it for me so I could practice I picked Raphael and got worked trying to do his super with a quarter of life left. Lil nikka blasted me with a dragon attack by Donatello. I was pissed. Lil nikka looked at me like .

Yeah, the amount of fukkery you could pull of in MK64 was just ridiculous. Lapping the CPU, having a banana peel to that big ass ramp on Wario Stadium and letting anyone else slide on it before hitting the ramp , that makes them fall down and go backwards on half a lap.

I think most people saying SMK for the SNES is saying that due to nostalgia.

Mario kart 8 would be up there but the lack of a true battle mode makes it not.
