The Biggest Animated Opening Ever (Breaks Frozen's Record) and this is after the Pandemic too. Multiple Records broken including "Transformers Revenge of the Fallen" 5 Day Record that's held since 2009. Doubled "Sonic 2" opening. Already passed "Pickacu and both Sonic's" at the Domestic Box Office. Will be the #1 Video Game Movie of all time passing "Warcraft" before next weekend. Mario is most definitely the most popular video game Icon. You have elderly people to adults to young teens to children that know who he is.

So where does it go from here? Well Definitely over 500 Million Domestic so 1 Billion is definitely locked. And Yes I don't know what's going to beat Mario this year because this is a family film. It will have legs the rest of this month into May. No Comic Book Movie is beating Mario this year. It already pretty much out grossed "Ant-Man's" Entire run 5 days. There's some wild cards but Mario has the inside track to win the Box Office this year. As someone who played Mario from the beginning. I'm very happy it got the movie it finally deserved. Well the Nintendo Cinematic Universe is a lock now. Bringing on Donkey Kong, Zelda, Metroid etc. They have so many legendary characters they can make Animated films for years.
