I could see Wario introduced as a side, character, some comic relief or something. Kind of like Hammer in Iron Man 2I think the Koopa kids are more interesting and better movie fodder. Like, I could see the kids wildin out and Bowser needing help

I was thinking Peach gets abducted and they have to save her. Wario could be real fun if they make him super goofy. Either way I’m locked inWario?
I know a good Zelda movie can be done, but I don't see it in Illuminations skillset.Zelda could take on the tone of a Studio Ghibli film, with some more action.
My bad, I meant animated. If there was an animated one before this one I need to check it out. I remember the live action. There was
Was it just me or did anyone notice that even though this was a kids movie they let the characters talk about killing and dying alot. They didn't hold the reins on some 2010s/2020s censorship shyt
movie was trash.
The writing and humor was on par with those cheap low budget animated movie like Norm of the North and The nut job.Matter of fact, the only reason why This Mario movie doesn't fall into same level of awfulness as those cheap animated movies is this movie budget.
Mario has a budget of 100 million this allows them to hire A list celebrities to voice and add their persona to characters. Chris Pratt voices and adds his everyday guy shtick to Mario and Jack Black voices and adds his zany, over the top tenacious D persona to Bowser. These and other celebrities voice over make the writing and humor somewhat bearable. In comparison, Norm of the North did not have the budget for likable A- list celebrities so the movie had to settle for annoying c list celebrities like Rob Schneider.
The 100 million budget also allows for great visuals. The Mario movie is very colorful and beautiful. Mushroom Kingdom looks like a nearby nuclear skittles plant exploded and left the kingdom in a permanent colorful glow.
Essentially, this movie is Norm of the North in Gucci.

I feel like a lot of people are being lenient and forgiving when it comes to this movie because of nostalgia.
I think they can. We're just used to seeing them do family friendly stuff. They would just have to change the tone a bit...but I kinda don't wanna hear Link talk tho lolI know a good Zelda movie can be done, but I don't see it in Illuminations skillset.
Is there not a thread for "AIR"? Do I have it's OP blocked maybe?
