The team defense has been bad so far. It also doesn't help the team is shooting very inconsistent almost every game.

The team doesn't seem focused and it seems they are distracted. Maybe there is something going on behind the scenes.

Monty needs to make better adjustments. I was hoping Jalen Smith would get some playing time but he is still only used in garbage time.

Also once again Ayton barely gets to touch the ball in the 2nd half of games.

Has to be that looming ESPN story that's distracting the team. The one thing working in their favor though is that other championship contenders have been struggling as well albeit more so due to injury.

It's looking like the Suns reign on top was shorter than leprechauns. 1-3 to start the season. I wonder how this is going to affect Ayton's future going forward.

Last years Suns started 8-8 and then they got it together. It's not over for them yet but, this year will be more challenging than last year. I'm sure there's some mental fatigue from being in the Finals. Other teams will be gunning for them too.

The Ayton contract situation will continue to be a distraction. When he has a good game people will say he should get paid. If he has a bad game people will say he doesn't deserve the money. Lack of stability with your #1 pick is never a good thing.

The Sarver controversy that's coming will also mess up the chemistry this year. It's going to be a challenging year for the team.

The Suns should have won last season when the opportunity presented itself. The team will never get that much luck in the playoffs again. It was like God was trying to hand Chris Paul a championship and they just couldn't close.
