The amount of people in this thread talking about "Suicide Squad sucked it and was dumb to even make a sequel" while ignoring that the 2016 Suicide Squad movie (regardless of its quality) made damn near $800 million worldwide is just the most glaring example of why this whole thread needs to be bushed.

You and the dude you quoted seem to be missing the point of my post...if a movie makes money it will get a sequel because the studio figures a 2nd movie will make money too.
Whether it was critically acclaimed or not doesn't matter.

At the end of the day, people weren't clamoring to see this movie. The last one was meh, and you redo it 5 years later? Nah.

Yeah it got a good RT score from critics, but Black Widow got a higher score from the fans, which means more people were at least invested.

I was reading the original run and wondered was she the Black woman and looked it up

They could expand on shyt like that

Show why Amanda is the way she is

And give more background on the Squad and make those deaths hit harder
