SUICIDE SQUAD 2 Director Search Continues As Jaume Collet-Serra Boards Dwayne Johnson's JUNGLE CRUISE

Following a recent report that The Shallows director Jaume Collet-Serra had emerged as Warner Bros.' first choice to helm Suicide Squad 2, Deadline has now revealed that the Spanish filmmaker has actually signed on to direct Disney's Jungle Cruise with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, taking him out of the running to replace David Ayer on the supervillain sequel.

Though Collet-Serra was said to be the studio's top choice, discussions were still taking place with several other directors, so they may already have someone in mind to take over. Could it be Mel Gibson, perhaps?

First film was pure trash, and Leto's Joker and Margot's Harley are coming back? Those two were some of the worst parts about the movie

I thought they were the best parts of it. Wasn't a good movie though but I'd watch a sequel on home video. The only parts I remember are Deadshot, Harley, and Joker.

SS had legs despite being savaged by critics though. Its not like it made all its money in Week One and then dropped because of bad word of mouth.
It was top 5 at the box office for 5 weeks and 3 of those weeks it was the #1 movie.

Yeah I guess.. dont get me wrong I dont hate for the sake of hating.. if this movie looks good I´ll watch it.. but the trackrecord is shyt.. I dont even get why everyone is hyping WW.. I mean they made a mediocre movie amongst shytty movies, are they supposed to get praise for that?
