they can fix what they almost messed up and keep SS2 hella grounded, no dumb ass over clustered cgi villain tryna blow up the world.

hell, make SS2 the squad tryna take out Joker but Deathstroke stops them or interfers cause joker is paying him, with Bat cameo here and there, HELLA GROUDNED. and you have a dope movie

i disagree about the cgi villain...not necessarily in regards to ss, cause they dont need a villain like that since most of them are human, but i'm talking comic book movies in general....i've spoke on it in another thread: i'm tired of seeing people complain about cgi villains in comic book movies....for the majority, these are movies about super powered beings going against other super powered being...that's the shyt i and many others many see when watching these....i dont wanna see super powered beings fighting humans and not using their powers, i wanna see them go all out....to show that, they gotta use cgi....so people need to chill with complaining about it....not every hero is human and/or fights humans like bats, in fact he's in the minority with that....it's cool for him, but people need to stop trying to force the majority to be like the minority....

as for your idea about ss2: i agree....i've been suggesting something like that for the ss2 myself.....

I don't think there's a fascination, he was pretty good in the role, Deadshot was for the most part a clean slate there weren't going to be too many fanboys going crazy about the character mythos and shyt. Will Smith is still a box office draw, in the end he was probably worth the money.

ehh i guess just feel will been lazy with his roles and the depth to them; tho a hitman really only has so much to offer, but still u can be menacing or whatever, a wise cracking a$$hole sociopath that happens to have a daughter....maybe the need to be guardians of the galaxy-ish fukked up his development in the film idk. we'll see in part 2 if the tone changes :manny:

Jaume Collet-Serra Frontrunner For ‘Suicide Squad’ Sequel

The Shallows director Jaume Collet-Serra has emerged as frontrunner choice to direct Suicide Squad 2, the next installment of the 2016 Warner Bros DC film that grossed $745 million worldwide. The studio looked at a number of filmmakers — Mel Gibson among them — but sources said the studio is focused on Collet-Serra to take the reins of a franchise that has Will Smith and Margot Robbieback in the ensemble.

The original, written and directed by David Ayer, was about a group of incorrigible jailbirds with special skills who were conscripted to fight terrible villains with the idea the heroes were expendable. The first film wasn’t a favorite of the fanboy crowd, but it a big global financial hit for the studio that left no doubt of future installments.

Collet-Serra, the Spanish director who broke into Hollywood with the genre hit Orphan, followed with the hits Non-Stop and The Shallows and has upcoming the 2018 Liam Neeson starrer The Commuter. He is in high demand and recently became attached to Annapurna’s Waco, a drama scripted by Zero Dark Thirty’s Mark Boal and Kubo and the Two StringsMarc Haimes about the 1993 standoff between the FBI and Texas state law enforcement and the David Koresh-led Branch Davidians that turned the sleepy town of Elk, just outside of Waco, into a battle zone. A 51-day standoff ended with 76 people dead as the cult’s compound was engulfed by a raging fire.

Just give me Harley Quinn & DeadShot with some Batman & Joker sprinkled in and I'm good

fawk everyone else.. I don't want these garbage writers & director wasting time on characters and they don't know what to do with them

they're not worth the screen time if you're not going to make them interesting/compelling/cool & fun

as a matter of fact...

I should've known after watching this trailer

notice how you NEVER SEE the CHARACTERS ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING... lol

not one cut scene of them doing some cool shyt... best part of the trailer was seeing Batman on the roof of Jokers car
and that was the best part of the movie which lasted for what 5mins

smh

well.. the actual movie didn't show sh*t either

Deadshot had 3 real scenes... the riccochet in the beginning, the scene on top of the car where he shot a bunch of monsters, and when they came to get him out of jail and he did the one shot kill target practice. (weak)

Harley.. I dunno.. the ride with Joker.. the scene in the jail cell where she takes out the guards and maybe 1 other one in the hallway I think

Diablo had the flame on shyt near the end of the movie and that was it..

you had the witch chick doing some pop in and out shyt and that was the whole movie outside of the Joker

smh..

I really don't know what people liked about this movie
