It's "to top it all off beef with white, pulling bleach out, tryna throw it in my eyesight...yo fucc is on your mind?"

White as in frank white

And kick in the door is mostly about rae and ghost...rae and ghost is the mad rapper...nas and jeru got the few notorious bars but the majority of it is directed at rae and ghost

Tbh...life after death should be called

Subliminal diss: the double album

Rae and ghost got LIT UP throughout the album :russ:

I'm also glad someone in this thread actually acknowledged "your fam, destiny lays in my hands..." was a sub at nas...the nicca big got so slick with verbally slapping niccas that niccas call his blatant subs reaches :wow:

Was it known that Nas' daughter was named "Destiny" tho? Ive heard the talk about that line before but it could just be a coincidence.

Oh shyt Warren G was going to LL all along. Funny how that was my favorite verse on this track. Warren said nothing but the truth.

Definitely, pretty obvious when you go through the last verse. Damn. Wondered what happened.

Jadakiss was going at the West Coast on Breathe Easy:

"I be in LA rocking any colors I want"

Heavy reaching. That's just a typical Kiss line where he's essentially flossing. It's not him going at the West tho.

Was this song by Eminem taking shot at DMX or this shyt is a react?

With first opening verse

"Yo, you might see me joggin, you might see me walkin
You might see me walkin a dead rottweiler dog
with it's head chopped off in the park with a spiked collar
hollerin at him cause the son of a bytch won't quit barkin
(grrrr, ARF ARF)"

They been saying this shyt for years online.

Also the lyrics on "Forgot About Dre";

"I don't give a fukk if it's dark or not
I'm harder than me tryin' to park a Dodge
When I'm drunk as fukk
Right next to a humongous truck in a two-car garage

Hoppin' out with two broken legs, trying to walk it off
fukk you too, bytch! Call the cops!
I'ma kill you and them loud-ass motherfukkin' barking dogs"

I personally think people are reaching. BUT, both came from a battle background & came
out around the same time so they couldve just been going at each other on some competition type shyt.

Well nas and big supposedly used to call eachother from time to time etc and they were pretty kool with eachother so i doubt it was out of the realms of him knowing nas' daughters name.

Plus its such a classic witty big line...its just too coincedental.

not a "subliminal that I missed", but it's something that I point out every time one of these threads pops up and everybody looks at me like I'm crazy....

but Hov's 2nd verse on "It's Alright" makes it sound like he knew Big was getting killed but didn't say anything so he could take a shot at being KONY

Wow...that offers food for thought...

I'll trade this one I regard in the same manner.

The way I see it, Kurupt dissed Nas twice and i'm the only one who picked up on it.

first on "Can't Let That Slide"

1. the hook is talmbat
"all y'all tellin' my bytch what you saw"...Nas was on tour with the Firm and supposedly telling Fox she shouldn't have married Kurupt because of chit he had heard.

2. "You li'l chip toothed muthafucca, you about to get smacked like a muthafucca bytch for that"

Then, on "Callin' Out Names":

1. "Chipped tooth, fake killer muthafuccer"...

2. "Fucc The Firm, Fucc Belly." ...yeah, the song is mostly billed as a diss to X, so that explains the "fucc Belly"...
but Nas was in Belly, too. And he was in The Firm. DMX wasn't in The Firm, so that seems like a random thing to mention.

Above the fray.
Jay on Thank You:

After the ruger shoots through a few clips (clipse?) You can lay in your casket just as you is (they had already announced Til the Casket Drops as their next album)

Don't think it's ever been confirmed but what Jay subs ever have
That's a good pull....the casket line might be reference to the Clipse' first video, "The Funeral"....where both brothers are shown in caskets

this was before grindin so not many people saw this video

if you can pull up the year the "Thank You" song came out......you can confirm what he's referring to

Nas throwing a stray at KRS One on Destroy and Rebuild:

"The Bridge is over my diccccccccccccccccck"

that's a good pull

but in Nas' OWN words

that line would just sound stupid/
when Krs already made a diss song called "Build and Destroy"/

heheheh

Nas didn't want it with Kris....

Nas had a line years before that said

"Is the Bridge over or did Nas resurrect it?/"

You can consider both lines subs.

When Rockness Monsta left Duck Down and started fukkin with Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit, there was some tension in Boot Camp camp over the whole situation, and I'm convinced that Buckshot's 2nd verse on "Where It Goez Wrong" and Top Dog's verse on "And So" where both aimed at Rock.

"I brought you up from the ground up
Now you wanna run and say my sound suck? (What?)
Tellin' nikkas 'Duck Down butt', but ain't no buts when I come around
All you hear is the crowd yell "Buck!"
Get it right or get it wrong
What's my name? Buckshot. What's your name? Not in this song
Sorry no props today, hard on the strip, fiends want no rocks today?

Shame, coulda been in the game, but now what
You shined for an hour and nobody dug you style but
Them nikkas that be geesin you up, hoping you hand them a piece of the cut
Jesus it sucks
Your reason is what? You don't got one, big deal you got guns
I got guns, be for real. We can get it on right now
But stack up, your money's short and I'm long right now" - Buckshot

"I can't take this!
Blood boiling pressure rising,
Opened my eyes and
We narrowed down to 7 guys
, And so
You ask about the God D.O.?
I'm top notch, Holdin my spot, gun by my crotch
You think not? I'm respected and feared around here
And so, I must be prepared around here
You know, everything that glitters ain't gold
You hoe, gettin' pimped by nikkas you don't know

That's Whoah!
Watch out for cars that move slow, windows low
I was taught by the best to do the 1 and gain control
Of this game and be sold and not told, And so
I'm a rep for my B double O, T. C.A.M.P.
Cuz I'm Top D.O.G., number 3
You know me from them OGCs that blow trees
fukkin with them Cocoa Bs we O'd" - Top Dog

Sean Price had a few sublims I believe against his own camp back in the early 2000s on a few of his freestyles too. That one over the Izzo beat specifically comes to mind.
"S to the izz E, A to the izz N
I'm rhyming for dolo cause I got homos for frizzends
Can we get along? I don't think so
Used to be my mans, but now I don't think so
Think i'm crazy then, well fukk it i'm on the brink yo
You can rubber room me and cuff me up in the clink yo
Yall got problems? I ain't concerned with that
You wanna fix 'em bytch, learn to rap!"

Plus the hook on "Don't Say shyt To Ruck" was obvious.
"To all the nikkas in my motherfukking click that's butt
When you see me, DON'T SAY shyt TO RUCK!"

Yeah, I thought those Price sublims were aimed at Starang, but some poster here from over there corrected me.

I was ultra fukked up at the time, so I don't remember who it was actually aimed at. I think it was some Decep shyt.

One BCC sublim I forgot, Rock getting at Mystikal on Leflah Leflour Eshkoshka part 2,

"Yes Yes yall, stay tuned for the upcoming eps yall
Nocturnal and Da Storm coming next yall
Boot Camp lay copycats to rest yall
So guard your chest yall"

There was a not too well known feud between Mystikal and Boot Camp Click because Mystikal came out with his own crew pre-No Limit called Boot Camp Clicc, and even did a song and video that looked exactly like scenes from Black Moon's "Buck "Em Down" video. It got physical during a show down south where BCC and Mystikal's camp bumped heads, Rock told the story during an interview I have off the radio on Power 99 back in '96.

"Ask Mystikal. Don't push me buttons. :demonic:"

Heltah Skeltah was BUILT for war. :banderas:

Where is this copycat Mystical video that looks like "Buck Em Down"? Never heard of it or seen it. I thought the beef was strictly over the nae of the crews......and Mystical being from a state that was actually nicknamed the Boot had a better claim t the name if you think about it.
I can't see BCC going down south talkin that shyt and not getting laid out. No Limit entourage was nothing but shooters.

fukk fame, I shoot a hole in a 50 Cent piece to test my aim
How dare you call the Gods in vein
Not knowin the seriousness of this and why I came
to Earth, feet first
I dare you lion tame to the beat of the drum
No questionin to the session, I walk with gun
The magnum'll bust his head for many directions unknown
Another statistic, change the ballistics
on the nozzle, make em goggle and swallow
Scrape the craters of the brain for data
Old scriptures on withered paper
beginnin take shape and form
when the Gods get on it and crash your college dorm

WC throwing shots at Wu Tang on Curb Servin:

"Guns Rule everything around me, FUKK THE CREAM"

I don't think that was a sub though, just Dub talking that gangsta sh!t.

Speaking of the West, Eiht had a few lines that stood out that I couldn't put together until knowing him and Quik's affiliations.

"Said you shoot the Eiht from the top of the tree, nikka please I'm a drop you to your fukkin knees." Dead Men Tell No Lies. Quik's from Tree Top Piru

"I don't believe it another motherfukker
On the rap shelf, done fukked himself
Just squeezed in like a b!itch
I guess that's why he raps with a high pitch"- Duck Sick2

"Eiht wont go quick, Eiht wont go easy"- Another Victim. A little competitive separation from the pack in Compton differing himself from Quik and Eazy.

This beef was way before Mystikal signed to No Limit. He was still on Big Boy Records at the time. It isn't that well known because it was before Mystikal became the household name that he ended up becoming, but it was talked about and known around the time to cats who followed BCC. Mystikal was asked in The Source by a reporter about it who said that he repped Brooklyn to the fullest and wanted to know why he chose that name knowing that BCC had already laid claim to it and Mystikal responded by saying that he was an actual soldier in a real war (he was in the U.S. military), Lousiania was always referred to as "The Boot" and that brothers should focus their time on something more constructive than bytching over a name. Buckshot responded on Rap City explaining why they called themselves Boot Camp Click and threw in this line about, "we're not trying to run around telling you we're Boot Camp cuz we fought in some other man's war".

And as I said, Rock told part of the story when Kolby Kolb brought it up cuz Kolb was at the show where Rock jumped on stage in the middle of Mystikal's set and went after his peoples. BCC is my favorite hip-hop group, so I followed all this shyt back in the day pretty closely. I remember joking around and tearing a page out of The Source of a Mystikal ad and burning it, just clowning around my people when they were smoking one day.:russ:

Game, Prosperity and Good Fortune
Facts. Dope concept. Lines I missed when I initially heard them

"No need to speed, slow down and let the leader lead
Word to daddy indeed
The R's a rolling stone, so I'm rolling
Directions told then, the rhymes are stolen
Stop buggin' a brother said dig him, I never dug him
He couldn't follow the leader long enough so I drug him" - Rakim dissing EPMD

"What we hear is platinum that, platinum this
Platinum whips, nobody got no platinum hits
Cats know with me platinum always wrap my wrist
I come to the awards, quadruple platinum chicks
Little ones like twenty five, what cats get smacked with
Big ones like fourty five, what cats get clap with" - Mase dissing Jay-Z

"Talking about Twisting don't impress you, like your shyt is all that
Go get your tecs I got grenadas to pack pins
Be quick to stack men, black men with mac 10s
Ready to let their finger back bend
And if I catch your dreamin, of descendant schemin'
Y'all find an intoxicated demon, sucking semen, hear what I'm screamin?
Huh, another p*ssy wants to break me in a homosapian
Beat him down and wont give a fukk what type of shape he in
Yellow is the color of cape he in, punk your style'll be
Facing fatality, split his head like a personality" - Twista dissing The Beatnuts. I originally though the entire song was about Naughty By Nature but it's both groups.

"Certain dissidents diss from a distance
Disrespect and discriminate
bytch I laminate that ass
And wear it at the New Music Seminar for a badge
Mash or get twisted
Dem gwan front like Rosa Parks but them marks is broke wristed
You got superiority complex based on old statistics, now listen
Respect due to the pioneers but what your borough did in 83' is ancient history brah'
So why these nikkas actin' like since they live in the state
That rap originates
They automatically, all time greats?
It takes classic material to make phat shyt
Not proof of New York residence and an accent" - Ras Kass getting at Q-Tip

LOL. Why did Twista is Dis the Beatnuts?
