This one is really embarrassing. So I've always been a comic book head and one of my favorite comics was Fantastic Four. When I was about 7 or 8 I heard on the news a guy had been arrested for possession of a firearm. I really thought he could light his arm up like the Human Torch. In my mind I pictured him being cornered by the police and yelling "you'll never take me alive! Flame on!" and whipping the police ass. Unfortunately I told my older brothers this and they.went.in.

I used to think this too:dead:

My earliest memory of Michael Jackson is him turning into a robot:dead:

I used to be scared of him too cause I legit thought breh had super powers and wasn't really human:dead:

yo this is accurate. As a kid, breh was like a real life comic book character

entertainers were way more mysterious back in the days

I legit thought that “Stay With Me” was sung by a black woman. That song would play 24/7 at the Best Buy i worked at and they never announced the artist’s name just the song. I thought the black lady from Alabama Shakes had gone solo and this song was finna blow her up until I watched the Grammy’s and saw a Gay white man singing it:gucci:

I thought Redbone was Macy Gray making a come back... i legit thought it was her singing for months and not childish Gambino. I never bothered to look it up because macy gray is cool but Im not a huge fan to do research on her like that. To this day I still call it a macy gray song

I was very young (like 6 or 7) when I first saw this video:

Some cousins that lived in the US and came for the holidays used to have this video playing at their crib all the time (it was so rare over here at the time). shyt blew my mind something serious. I had the :ohhh: face every time it would come on.

I didn't know shyt about the US at the time. So to this day I'm amazed to remember how back when I first watched this my first realization was:
1 - "Puff Daddy must the leader of this little group :dwillhuh:"
And the question that wouldn't shut up in my mind was "America is a country of white people, who let him be this outrageous and why?" :mindblown:
A decade and some change later I find out Mase is the only one who could actually rap.:gucci: I thought he was the filler and only let on in front of the camera for being light skinned. :snoop:

It was the first Afram video I saw, and after seeing some other ones I could've sworn Aframs were the most daring and bold black people on earth. They live around white people and they get to do all this??? :mindblown: Wild shyt.
