Yea but melo isnt getting any younger and is rapidly losing whatever athleticism that he has left. The frequency of injuries is also a concern. Is he someone that we should commit to over the course of the next 5 years? I'm not so sure the answer to that is as clear as it was in the past.

:stopitslime: i can't believe cats are really talking about getting rid of melo. without melo it's back to the basement for real. knicks fans should be hoping and praying he re-signs.

His game has not grown.....teams know exactly what's he going to do, so they adjust accordingly...Carmelo Anthony is never going to use anyone other than Carmelo Anthony to win a ball game for you. That makes it so much easier for opposing defenses to prepare for.

Its hard watching any team hes on play because any team hes been on has had no ball movement and has been stagnant because hes a ball stopper

You are misreading what I wrote. I didn't say the organization should actively look to get rid of him. I agree, we would be absolute shyt without him. All I'm saying is that if he walked, I wouldn't be as disappointed as I would have been if this situation had played out in the past. His tenure in New York has been nothing but a huge disappointment and its a bit delusional to think that he hasn't played any role in that.

Considering that 'Melo's X-rays were negative, the week off could do him a lot of good. Hopefully the Hawks can help NY make it in.

pacers coach pulled his starters in the first quarter

they dont want them knicks in man jr shooting lights out
:comeon:
At halftime, 4 of the Pacers 5 starters have played 18 minutes. Hibert is the only one who played less than that and is 0-5 from the field.
The Hawks are without 2 starters and none of theirs current starters have played more minutes than those 4 Pacers starters
knicks roster has more talent than 90% of the rosters in the league. but talent means nothing without a coaching staff who knows how to fit the pieces together and manage players. woodson has always been a mediocre coach who gets mediocre results. imo the biggest impediment to this teams growth has been having to play under woodson for the last two years. yea he's better than d'antoni but he's still a bum, and the knicks will never be a championship level team with him as the coach.

as far as the roster goes the knicks need one, maybe two strong off-season moves to beef up the front court and pg spot and that's it.
Had Amare and Chandler been Healthy, you bums would have arguably the best front-court in the NBA with Melo, Chandler and Stoudemire. But your PG position's been garbage for a while and both Amare and especially Tyson need a playmaking PG to get them the ball where they can simply finish.

Considering that 'Melo's X-rays were negative, the week off could do him a lot of good. Hopefully the Hawks can help NY make it in.
Is that you in your avi? You have a sister with the initials C.P.?

I thought I was the only one who saw that but it's not just them. It's the league. Miami would have lost today if not for the 30 to 13 free throw disparity, even with 'Melo's bad arm. That's pathetic. Hopefully NY and the fans will see brighter days some time down the line. smh

:what: What difference does this make when Vogel sent his bench to play ATL's starters, which puts a team that struggles to score in a 30+ point whole? That's some serious stannery on your part.
