nah it seems this was Dolan just being a shytty boss and not a shytty team owner.

The unofficial leak is the move was done because Mills is liked by players around the league and Dolan thinks he can get some of the top tier FA's to put around Melo come 2015. Grunnie got demoted because this is around the time that a team would get a New GM to prepare for that. I mean it seem's stupid (hell it is stupid) but it does at least show they learned from the whole Walsh fiasco of him meeting players walking around with an old folks walker.

My best guess is that little Jimmy Dolan never had any friends growing up so now he's overcompensating, handing out jobs to anyone who'll play golf with him.

if you think lebron going to miami had nothing to do with riley you are very wrong. a Gm does make a difference. I'm not sure of mills relationship with these top players but if he has a good one and hes serious about making a super team, people will listen
