Stunned. Shocked. Saddened. This is the only way I can describe how I'm feeling right now. I have memories of every morning before I went to school, I always made sure to had my cereal ready and my TV on ESPN so I could watch some morning reruns of SportsCenter, and Stu was part of that reason.
From his catchphrases to his personality, and quite frankly to just how damn good he was, he was truly one of a kind. If I ever make into the Sports Analytical business, you can rest assured that he will be credited as one of my inspirations.
Lastly, I can't imagine how his family must be feeling right now, especially his two wonderful daughters. To his colleagues, friends and family, especially his extended family in the sports world that went from Bristol, CT to beyond, my thoughts, prayers & good vibes are with you all.
I can't even think about anything else right now, not even the Lions playing today.

RIP to the homie Stu Scott.
He coulda been the nikka that made it and flipped cornball but he stayed true to his self and was raising the roof from the beginning to the end. He had a lil nikka staying up late jus to see what he'd say on a nightly basis. Respect.
