Wow. Just woke up to this. RIP to him. He was a good man. I showed my father his espys speech when my dad was sick, with cancer earlier in the year. It gave him hope. Even though he didn't make it, he watched that a lot and fought through it. I GREW up watching Scott on SC and he'll be truly missed.

He always seemed like a genuine guy. RIP man

this some real shyt. the anchors they have on always saying some slick shyt during the highlights. they are full of hate and disdain for the athletes with the exception of a select few. i don't understand their business model anymore.

I don't know, now it seems ESPN takes their cues from social media. Like they will go to twitter and FB and see what the current feeling is about an athlete and tell their anchors to go with that like Jamesis Winston for instance. Mocking athletes and using terms like fail and yolo are the current hip things now.

yup that's exactly what i think it is too. they are catering to the segment of the population that just loves to hate on success. stu was a different breed. always showed athletes love and understanding for their situations which is why a lot of athletes are showing him love back today on twitter.
